🐴 𝗧𝗜𝗣 𝗧𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬 – 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀! 💡

Thinking about breeding early in 2027? Now is the time to start planning your lighting program!

As daylight hours decrease, mares and stallions naturally respond to seasonal changes in daylight, which can affect reproductive activity.

Artificial lighting programs can help encourage an earlier start to reproductive activity by simulating longer daylight hours.

💡𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱: Lighting programs generally need approximately 60–70 days to be effective, so planning ahead is important!

Whether you're using barn lighting or a light mask, consistency is key.

A little organization goes a long way!

Fall is a great time to catch up on your horse's registration paperwork, breeding certificates, and other important records.

Whether you're registering this year's foal, reviewing breeding history, or looking ahead to 2027, having accurate and up-to-date records can help prevent confusion and unnecessary delays.

Taking a little time to get everything in order now can save you time and headaches when you need those documents most! 🤎🐴
