Rescue Haven Foundation strongly believes that getting dogs out of shelters and into foster homes is the best way to get them prepared for their future homes. We also wanted to create a foster program that is set up to help dogs through any issues and provide a support system . Our foster program was crafted by dog trainers to insure that we have resources and training available to our fosters and

those that adopt our dogs. In addition, Rescue Haven develops dog foster, spay/neuter, and community education programs in order to make homeless dogs more adoptable, to empower the public with knowledge, and to help control pet overpopulation. Every rescue organization has specific needs and we strive to assist each one to become better equipped to meet its ultimate goal – saving and protecting animals.

Who remembers our sweet Willow ( KNA Willie)? He was found on the streets with a dangling leg and a spirit as broken as his femur. He arrived scared of everything – every sound, every movement sent him into fearful stillness. But beneath all that trauma, there was a fighter waiting to emerge.
Through extensive orthopedic surgery, countless laser treatments, weeks of pain management and rehabilitation, Willow never gave up. He was so cooperative through it all, never complained, and slowly – beautifully – began to trust that not all people meant harm.
Then came the miracle we'd all hoped for. Angelica and Jamar looked into those big, once-frightened eyes and saw something extraordinary – a spark worth nurturing, a soul worth saving. They opened their hearts and home to our sweet boy, and he found his forever family.
Today, as his family celebrates Willie's 4th birthday, we're overwhelmed with joy seeing how far he's come, from a broken, terrified pup on the streets to a beloved family member surrounded by endless love and celebration.
Here's to our resilient, beautiful Willie – may your days be filled with all the joy, treats, and cuddles your heart can hold. You've taught us all what it means to heal, to trust again, and to find light after darkness.
