We're moving on 6/29!

Many have noticed that our store is starting to look a little bare lately. This is because we have begun moving more things down to suites 2 & 3! Over this week and the next this will continue as we get ready to move all of our operations to the end of the building. We are planning our final move out on 6/29.

If you are interested in helping that day we'll have food! We'll need to move any remaining animal enclosures and inventory so any help would be appreciated.

We are very excited to have everything in one area which will save a ton of time and help us continue to grow.

Our first chance at hitting visual monarchs! This is a het monarch we picked up from Tom Harbin in 2022. We did not know him very well but we were very sad when he passed away last year. This girl was one of our first higher end purchases and Tom was very helpful in answering questions when we started breeding that year. Hopefully we'll get a chance to carry on part of his contributions to the hobby through her.

Attention!
We will not be selling pet/breeder mice or rats at this time. Some of the wild mice exposed our colonies to mites (we're suspecting they are Ornithonyssus bacoti) and we are actively working to get it under control. This is NOT harmful to reptiles or humans and can still be used safely as feeders! Snake mites are an entirely different species (Ophionyssus natricis). We will post updates as we work to get them eradicated.

I've had a lot of questions the past few weeks about the word "scute!"

What is a scute? It's a modified (usually larger & harder) scale, such as the ones on a turtle's shell!

How do you say it? It's not "scoot" or "scut" or "shoot" It rhymes with CUTE! :)
