Today is our lovable girl, Chihiro’s, 2nd birthday!!!! We absolutely LOVE taking our pups to our favorite pet supply store to pick out their birthday treats/presents, which Chichi was super excited about 😂 Can you tell? Chichi walked around like she was on a cloud, choosing all of her favorite chews and meeting the wonderful employees. I’d say she is super proud of herself 😆 Happy birthday Chichi!!!

Leash manners have been a struggle for little Elvis, especially since he wants to be a free spirit and do his own thing most of the time 😂 Since drop off, we have been working on his leash skills, starting with simple leash pressure exercises and now working on more of a focused walk with tons of rewards and praise involved. He’s such a smart boy, so he picks things up very quickly. However, he definitely can have a mind of his own and wants to party a good portion of the day 😆 We don’t mind, we just like to have a good balance of impulse control and focus along with the party pup fun!

Get a Husky they say… well… exhibit A on why Huskies can be a lot for the typical household 😂 This is 3+ hours of line brushing and deshedding on ONE Husky 😆 Inosuke seems pretty happy with his work after all of this! He was such a good sport and actually enjoyed the constant attention by both Nick and I for what felt like forever. The additional treats to show him how much we appreciate his patience were a huge bonus for him. This is not even including the bath and blowout that will follow… Ino is one hairy boy! It’s 100% worth it and I bet he feels loads lighter after all of his recent “weight loss” 😂

Everyone please welcome this handsome young pup, Elvis! This little Poodle boy is here to learn how to be a well-mannered member of the family instead of the little land shark he currently likes to pretend to be. He’s a super smart boy, so we have no doubt he’s going to do amazing in doggy school!

Second day in conformation class with Jinx! We are learning soooooo much about this side of dog showing, but so far it’s been a blast! So proud of Jinx for her confidence on the table tonight compared to day one. She was way less nervous of the big open show ring on the down and back as well. Super excited to see where this journey takes us ♥️ This little girl has my heart for sure… and my fingers sometimes 😂

Happy birthday to the Thorned Princess herself, Yor! This sweet and playful girl turned 4 years old today! We couldn’t imagine our day-to-day without this silly, sweet girl in our lives. Such a perfect example of the fun loving Husky personality we know and love! Happy birthday, Yor!

Manners, manners, and more manners are in order for Miss Betty! She’s loving being the center of attention during training sessions, but she definitely needs a lot of impulse control when she’s not getting direct attention. More work to do but making good progress!
