Another trial and another amazing time playing agility with my heart dog, Haku! We exceeded our expectations this weekend, walking away with our Novice Standard title on Saturday and our first leg in Open Standard today! We were sooooooooo close to getting some legs in Open JWW, but this boy was zooming with confidence this weekend and quite frankly I didn’t know how to keep up 🤣 Thank you to all of the wonderful people we chatted with at the trial, our teachers for giving us extremely helpful feedback on our runs, and our amazing friends and support system that came out to watch us trial!
More practice to be had this month in classes and seminars to prep for our next trials in June. Even though I can’t seem to get rid of my trial jitters, we are both having so much fun on this new journey of ours. Haku is having the best time and I absolutely love seeing his confidence continue to grow. Until next time! Now for a much needed nap!
