While we love celebrating Independence Day, fireworks and festivities can be stressful for our furry friends.

Here are a few reminders to help keep your pets safe this holiday:
• Keep pets indoors during fireworks.
• Make sure collars, ID tags, and microchip information are up to date.
• Provide a comfortable place indoors where they can feel secure. Use music, white noise, or a fan to help muffle the sound of fireworks.
• Keep human food, alcohol, sparklers, and fireworks out of reach.
• If you need to take your pet outside, always use a leash. Even pets who never run can be startled.

We've been living that treat-to-treat lifestyle at the kennels lately, with our fur-babies bursting with energy, frolicking in the rain, and having an absolute blast. Spending time with each of these furbabies fills our hearts with lots of love and happiness. Thank you all for allowing us to be a part of their lives. I also had to add some extra cute animals to our posts.
