Post-Adoption Update! 🎉

Peter, now known as Apollo or "Popo", is soaking up all the love at his forever home. A popular longtime resident and now alumni, he has become the affectionate, snuggly housecat we always knew he could be.

'Apollo is doing great!! He has settled in very well. He loves to spend his time in my lap, sunbathing, sleeping under blankets, or sitting in his cat tower starting out the window bird watching. He's a chatty little guy and just the biggest lover. We are so happy!" say his pawrents.

Ezekiel is the last remaining kitten of his 10 brothers and sisters to be adopted! He's a friendly, laid-back boy who loves to play with his feline pals and humans. Just shy of four months old, Ezekiel is an outgoing, inquisitive, and confident little guy. He gets along well with just about every friendly cat or kitten, and loves to cuddle and nap on laps.

At Queen City Cats, we believe two kittens are better than one! This lovely little lady raised three beautiful kittens and now it is finally her turn to be spoiled.

Bowie is curious and independent, always exploring until she finds the perfect cozy spot to curl up. Her heart belongs to snackies (especially Churus 😻) and she occasionally treats her foster home to a playful burst of energy.

Mama Bowie is a confident, sweet, and independent young lady ready for adoption! At just over a year old, she raised a litter of three gorgeous babies and now that they’ve all found their homes, she is eager to find hers! Mama Bowie is a huge fan of cozy napping places and churu treats - an easy opportunity to earn some serious brownie points with her and make her feel more comfortable.

Despite her young age, she has only moderate energy and prefers a quiet home with not too many other pets or young children. Mama Bowie can definitely get used to other pets in the house with the understanding that her adopters will follow scent-swapping advice and supervision at first.

Although she’s very mellow with people, she occasionally has playful bursts of energy which are so fun to witness. Mama Bowie is a good young girl ready to make the leap into your heart and home. Post-Adoption Update! 🎉

The sweetest mother-daughter pair Amie (now Amy) and Gina came to us from a hoarding situation back in May. Amy, the orange and white cat, along with her two other year-old sisters, were raising 10 kittens total! Not only that, Amy was also pregnant with another litter despite her young age (poor mama)!

We got everyone in this crew vaccinated, dewormed, spayed/neutered, and this lovely duo were some of the first to find their forever home. Their new pawrents tell us "they’re both doing great! They love lounging around on the cat tree and under the coffee table... Gina is very active at night and loves running around!"

These two girls are so fun and sweet, we're thrilled they went to an amazing home that treasures and loves them so deeply. 🐈🐈

This young mama is finally getting her turn to be the baby—and she’s soaking it up! Currently in a foster home, Samantha is sweet, calm, and cuddly, with a curious spirit that makes her friendly with everyone she meets. She loves chin scratches, cuddles, and being the center of attention (wet food and treats are a close second 🐾).

She’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly—wand toys are fun, but nothing beats quality time with her humans. Samantha would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of love and would do wonderfully with kids. 💛

Post-Adoption Update! 🎉

Larry came into our care when he was taken in off the streets by a kind soul who relinquished him into our care after it became clear he was not going to get along with their other cats. Luckily, we've found the purr-fect match for him where he can be the king of his own castle, no other furry siblings included!

His adopter tells us, "Larry is doing really well; it took him a while to settle in. He spent the first couple of weeks hiding under one of our couches, but once we got him to be brave and venture out a bit, he saw cat trees, windows with bird feeders, treats and toys and figured this was a pretty good deal! He is a total love bug, very gentle and sweet. His favorite things are chasing spring toys and napping in his cat trees. We love our sweet Larry."

Meet Shish*to (aka Shish)! 🌶️ The mildest of her Scoville pepper family, she and her siblings—Puya, Pequin, and Chocolate Habanero (Choco)—were rescued from a trailer park and are now thriving in indoor life. Shish is brave, curious, and playful, always chasing her favorite Churu treats. 🍫

As the confident little leader of her pack, she charms everyone—cats and humans alike—and will reward you with calming purrs during cuddle time. She would thrive in a home with gentle older children and other cats, especially a playful kitten companion.
