🎣 Snoopy is getting the hang of indoor life… and discovering that toys are pretty great!

After spending months surviving outside, this handsome guy is finally enjoying the comforts of a safe home. A few Churu treats, some gentle pets, and a fun play session are usually all it takes to win him over.

Snoopy may be shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he’s a sweet, affectionate companion who loves sharing head bumps and attention. 💛

Lindsay isn't your average black cat. She's *otherworldly* 👽

Just kidding. But seriously, she's quite the interesting, quirky, and silly girl. At just 1.5 years old, Lindsay is an independent and playful girl. Much like her buddy Lainey that she's bonded with, Lindsay was rescued as an older kitten from a hoarding situation where she wasn't socialized.

While she doesn't like to be handled or pet, she's an absolute fiend for playtime - think peacock feathers and dangly wand toys. This girl is athletic, high-energy, and adventurous. With lots of positive reinforcement (and churu treats), she could continue to open up to humans. Lindsay and Lainey need a patient adopter who is willing to accept them for as they are, and understand that they may not be traditional "lap cats". If you're looking for an independent cat who is rarely underfoot, accompanied by occasional bursts of zoomies, you've found her! More info and an adoption application can be found on our website.

Post-Adoption Update! 🎉

Sally Siren and Bigfoot are so adored by their humans! With lots of enrichment, affection and companionship, these two are thriving. We are so happy for everyone in this amazing family!

"We are doing great with Sally and Bigfoot. We are totally in love with these cats. They are so gentle, kind and sweet. Thank you again for the opportunity to adopt these two cats, we feel so lucky. They are truly great cats! My son threw separate birthday parties for them when he found out they didn’t have [set] dates for their birthdays," says their new mama.

Looking for an expressive, playful, and inquisitive feline companion? Lainey is your guy! At just over a year old, he's got lots of energy and excitement to share! Bonded with his buddy Lindsay, he was rescued as an older kitten and is taking his sweet time to warm up to people. But that doesn't mean he's not a great companion. Lenny doesn't like to be handled, but he does get close enough to enjoy churu tubes and play with dangly toys with his human visitors.

He loves high-up places like cat trees and shelves where he can survey his environment from above, and also likes birdwatching (windows and cat TV!). Lainey gets along well with other friendly cats and has made quite a few feline buddies during his time at our partner Queen City Cat Lounge. Him and Lindsay would do best in an adult-only home, as they are quite independent and do not like to be chased after. With patience and positive association, Lainey and Lindsay could be the purrfect addition to your home. They've been with QCC for almost a year - let's find them their forever home! Daniel is plump, playful, and ready to nuzzle his way into your heart. At just under 4 years old, this XL lovebug came into our care as a transfer from our rescue partnership in Puerto Rico. He was found in an abandoned church with several other cats, but made it clear early on that he is very well socialized with people.

He gets along fantastically with other cats, and has integrated quickly into the group of cats at our partner location, Queen City Cat Lounge. He is patient with gentle kids, and is a speedy boi when it's playtime! Daniel also enjoys the finer things in life, like a nice chin/neck scritch. With his rough background on the streets, it comes with no surprise that sweet Daniel is FIV+.

As a reminder, FIV is an viral condition that effects the immune system of infected cats. However, FIV is only transmitted by deep bite wounds. Meaning, FIV+ cats can live with, groom, and share water/food/litter boxes with non-FIV cats without risk of transmission. Cats with this condition can live just as long and healthy lives as other cats when they are kept indoors and seen for regular checkups. Post-Adoption Update! 🎉

Sorrel and Clove, two kittens from an adorable litter that brought so much energy and joy to , have adjusted well to their forever home. "We named them Apollo and Starbuck. They are settling in wonderfully. Apollo is a prolific cuddler, and Starbuck is a very curious explorer. We are so happy to have them as part of our family," says their new mama.

We are so happy for these two babies and their family! As always, QCC only adopts out young kittens (under 6 months old) in pairs (or triplets) for their social and emotional health. Having a playmate they can wrestle with and find comfort in always makes transitions easier for kittens. Plus, being around another young cat helps to establish normal social boundaries and expectations.

This three-year-old flamepoint beauty is equal parts silly, playful, affectionate, and just a little bit sassy. Once she settles in, Princess loves spending time with her humans and soaking up attention.

Post-Adoption Update! 🎉

Lenny, who now goes by his fancy full name of Lenzo, is doing wonderfully! His adoptive mama tells us that this silly boy has a voracious appetite and "Eats more than 9 baby raccoons, often asking for food with his tiny and often silent meow.

"He's caused some inadvertent mayhem in the house, mainly due to crazy cat zoomies. He loves chasing treats, comes when he's called, carries toys all over the house, and especially enjoys kicker toys. He's skittish at times and still shy about strangers, but he's incredibly sweet and gentle.

"Lenzo loves affection, has a loud purr, allows petting all over his body, and gets so relaxed he slides off a chair or lap like a silk scarf. He's letting me pick him up for longer intervals. Overall, we're doing great and are so grateful for QCC!"
