Looking for a gangly boy who adores to snuggle and chat with people? Casey is your guy! At just a year old, this sweetie was abandoned by his previous owners and left to fend for himself. Now that his scrapes and scratches are healed, Casey is ready to enjoy the spoiled indoor life and unconditional forever family love.

Despite his rough past, Casey is so incredibly affectionate towards people and actively seeks out his humans. Prepare for lots of lap time and him showing off his kneading skills! When he's not cuddled up contentedly to his person, Casey is playful and sweet. He's also incredibly food-motivated and not picky at all - a win for pawrents looking to train him in the art of tricks for treats.

Momma Bowie came to us as a stray and surprised everyone with three beautiful kittens. She raised them like a total pro—and now it’s her turn to be cared for. 💕

Currently living the foster life, Bowie is thriving in a calm, cozy environment. She’s an independent little lady who loves a good snack (Churus are her weakness), a soft spot to nap, and the occasional zoomie when the mood strikes.

Post-Adoption Update! 🎉

We are so happy to share that senior lady Otter was perfectly matched with her new humans a few months ago. Her mom tells us that "Otter is an absolute dream, a perfect senior companion to us as seniors... she completely took over the rest of the home, and we are completely and utterly in love with her. She is very elegant and quiet at times and has the eyes of a wise old soul.

"At other times she is like a kitten, throwing her new toys around and wanting to play. Her favourite thing to do, besides follow us everywhere, is to sit in the big reading chair doing her yoga or just relaxing. She also loves sitting in front of the picture window watching for the rabbits and dogs and people who wander past the window.

"She is affectionate, loves being close by your side, likes chatting and telling you things, likes waking you up through the night to look outside with her, and all the worries she seemed to have have faded away. We could not be happier with our beautiful Otter. She just melts my heart to have her here."

We're not crying, we promise! 😭🥰 Otter could not be more loved. We're so happy for her and her family.

Post-Adoption Update! 🎉

Horchata, now named Huckleberry, has been adopted into a family with an orange older brother! They spend their days snuggling and grooming, and being the best of buddies. 🧡 🧡 Swipe for for seriously adorable photos 🥰

His new mom tells us "Huckleberry is doing fantastic! He gets along well with his older brother, and the two of them love sitting in their window hammock together and watching birds. We both absolutely love him and are so glad he joined our family!"

Sanctuary Pal Update!

Odie, a sweet orange boy who came into Queen City Cats’ care just over a year ago, is enjoying life at his own pace. He was found in very rough shape: malnourished, covered in fleas and wounds, limping and still intact. Despite how sick he was, we wanted to give him a chance at a better life.

He responded incredibly well to his meds, quality food, and a lot of love from his fospice mom. We were preparing him for a dental he desperately needed when one of our amazing vets caught something that could’ve endangered his life had he gone under anesthesia.

Odie had some very irregular lung sounds, and upon further investigation and X-rays it was discovered that his lungs were not functioning at full capacity, that there was some sort of growths or scar tissue limiting his breathing. Had we not known this and gone ahead with his dental surgery, Odie might not have made it out.

QCC’s medical support team decided not to go through with the procedure for his own safety, and to keep him comfortable and spoiled for his remaining time. Much to our delight, Odie’s quality of life has only gotten better and he’s adjusted quite well to the indoor lifestyle.

He loves snuggling up on cozy blankets with his mama, birdwatching and sunbathing, and of course diving right into his wet food with no concern about making a mess 😅

Marvelous mister Milkshake just made his TV debut with this week! When he's not showboating for the camera, this people-oriented kitty is busy making the most of his day. This usually consists of making himself the center of attention in a lovey, snuggly way. Milkshake gets along great with kids of all ages and adores having high-energy human playmates who can keep the fun going! He isn't picky about playtime, give him a paper bag or jingly ball and he's in heaven.

Milkshake would be a great candidate for anyone who's interested in an adventure cat - he loves to birdwatch and is excellent to walk on a harness. That being said, this people-loving ham gets along best with just people, no other pets. He can get startled by other animals easily and prefers to be kept in an environment with no other feline or canine surprises. Milkshake would also benefit from access to a catio (or screened-in porch, just watch for door darting!) where he can enjoy the outdoors safely.

Meley and Moondancer - the gorgeous chunky 1.5yo sisters ready to fill your home with snuggles and a bit of mystery. This bonded pair of gentle, sweet girls have been through a couple rough transitions but have persevered and are slowly warming back up to people. Wouldn't it be amazing to see these girls' personalities blossom in your home?

Caligo girl Meley is the most outgoing of the two and she comes out when the house is calm. She loves sunbathing and playing with her feline friends in a relaxed way. Meley adores chin scritches and once she gets comfy, expect a lot of happy drool!

Moondancer is the reserved one of the duo - extra plush and timid, she wants a human with a patient demeanor whom she can feel safe around. Both her and her sister get along well with other gentle cats and would do best in a child-free and dog-free household.

Post-Adoption Update! 🎉

We have the best update about the sweetest baby boy Teddy, a ginormous ex-tomcat with a heart of gold. He had a rough start to life before coming to QCC, and had to overcome some social/behavioral hurdles before finding his forever home. But we're happy to share that he's found his perfect match, and can enjoy a cozy, soft, and low-stress life going forward.

"He is the biggest cuddle bug, and skids across the kitchen floor when he hears the fridge door. Funny enough, his favorite spot to sit is my girlfriends wheelchair. Thank you so much for letting me adopt this silly boy!" says his adopter.
