Frass is the nutrient-rich byproduct produced when our Black Soldier Fly Larvae break down food scraps. Think of it as nature's own fertilizer, packed with the NPK your garden craves (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium), plus chitin, the natural compound found in insect exoskeletons that helps plants build resistance to pests and disease.
What makes frass different from conventional fertilizers:
It releases nutrients slowly, feeding your soil over time rather than all at once. It improves overall soil health, not just plant growth. And you only need 1 lb per 10-20 sq ft, so a little goes a long way.
