Hello everyone, we have been informed someone has used our name and phone number to scam people. They call and say something like, “we have a\your lost dog, it has been hit by a car and we need $1200 to work on or it would be put down.” We do not ever work this way. If you receive any phone/text like this, please call the police.

Today is Feline Leukemia Day. This day is intended to raise awareness of Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), one of the most important infectious diseases of cats worldwide. Affected cats can develop anemia (a low red blood cell level), cancers, and/or suppression of the immune system.

Widespread testing and vaccination efforts have helped to reduce the prevalence of the disease over the past 30 years, and in 2010 approximately 3% of the cats in the United States were infected.

Vaccinations are the key to prevention and are a part of regular wellness care.
