Not all black salt is created for the same purpose.

In this reel, I’m featuring several blends thehurriedhare including formulas for Home Protection, Personal Protection, and Sweet Dreams. They’re a great example of how black salts can be crafted with different magical intentions.

A general-purpose black salt can absolutely be dedicated toward your own magical work. Other black salts are intentionally created with a specific objective already in mind, making them a practical choice when your working has a clear focus.

Before buying any magical tool, ask yourself one simple question:

“What do I need this to do?”

The answer will often guide you to the right tool for the work.

If you could only keep one herb in your magical cabinet, rosemary would be hard to beat.

Used for centuries in both magical and folk traditions, rosemary is valued for protection, purification, blessing, remembrance, and strengthening spiritual work. It’s equally at home in spell bags, candle magic, cleansing washes, incense blends, and ritual baths.

Simple to find, affordable, and remarkably versatile, it’s one of those herbs that every practitioner, beginner or experienced, can put to good use.

Traditionally associated with purification, protection, remembrance, and blessing, rosemary finds its way into countless forms of magical work. Add it to spell bags, dress candles, incorporate it into floor washes, burn it with incense, or use it in ritual baths.

Before you gather your herbs, choose a candle, or anoint your tools, take a moment to write your petition.

A well-written petition begins with a clearly defined intention. Rather than writing from a place of longing with phrases like “I hope,” “I wish,” or “I want,” try writing from the outcome you’re cultivating, using the present tense.

It’s a small shift, but one that can bring greater clarity and purpose to your ritual practice.

A client traveled overseas and kept running into the same local man wherever she went. They exchanged numbers, but because of the nature of her trip, they never had the opportunity to spend time together. When she returned home, she didn’t want the story to end there. Remembering she had a Come to Me Mini Spell Kit from The Crooked Path, she decided to give it a try.

A Come to Me working utilizes the energy of Mars to draw a desired person toward you. She dressed a red candle with Come to Me oil, added the accompanying herbs, and performed the working.

Two weeks later, he booked a trip to Los Angeles to visit her. They spent an incredible week together.

Spellcrafting is not as simple as lighting a candle or making a spell bag. It’s important to feel what you are trying to achieve and put that energy into the work you’re undertaking. We always recommend writing a concise statement of intention of what you want to happen, as if it’s happened, in present tense.

Will timing guarantee results? No.
