Just look at this magnificent boy. Barnie is a soft, quiet, and sensitive kitty who needs a little extra time to feel safe — but when he finally trusts, his love is deep, calm, and incredibly loyal.

Barnie has been in the shelter for twelve years. Twelve years of watching other cats get chosen while he kept waiting. Senior, shy kitties like Barnie are often overlooked, even though they are the ones who need us the most.

This Thanksgiving season, we’re giving thanks by giving back! 🦃🍂

Bulverde Animal Hospital is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive to support Provisions: A 25:35 Outreach – the Bulverde Food Pantry, helping local families in need. Together, we can make sure every table in our community is filled with warmth, kindness, and hope. 💛

📦 Most Needed Items Include:
• Canned tuna, chicken, beef stew, chili & soup
• Canned veggies, beans, pasta, fruit & tomato products
• Dry rice, beans, pasta & cereal
• Peanut butter & jelly
• Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste & toothbrushes
• Feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, dish soap & laundry detergent
• Pet food – dog & cat

Too cute. Too sweet. Too overlooked. Let’s fix that before his first birthday.

Wyatt is the total package — friendly, gentle, and completely adorable. He’s a Hound/Heeler/Terrier mix who’s been waiting far too long while all his siblings found homes.

He’ll turn one on December 14, and we’d love for him to celebrate it surrounded by his forever family (and maybe a few treats). 💛
