🐾 Forever Home Update! 🐾

This family just absolutely knew they wanted to find the right kitten — the one where that special kitten connection was strong. ❤️

Then Dino, now Boots, walked right up with purrs and snuggles, and they just knew.

With a flurry of pictures already filling their phones, it’s clear that
Boots is completely loved by his new family. He has found his forever home — and we couldn’t be happier for him!

Thank you so much to Boots’ wonderful family for choosing adoption and opening your hearts and home to this sweet boy. We wish you all a lifetime of love, happiness, and countless purr-filled moments together!

Meet Winston, a Terrier mix who somehow manages to fit an enormous amount of happiness into one adorable dog.

He’s playful. He’s fun. He’s ridiculously cute. And if his goal is to make everyone he meets smile, he’s succeeding.

Winston came to BAHS as a stray, and now he’s ready for something he hasn’t had yet: a family to call his own.

Meet Bon Bon, Spumoni & Sprinkles

These three sweet sisters — Bon Bon, Spumoni and Sprinkles — were born in June 2026 and came to the shelter together.

All three girls are currently completing treatment for FIP (feline infectious peritonitis).

Because they are still completing treatment and are not yet spayed, they are available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program.

This allows each girl to begin life with her forever family while she finishes her FIP treatment and waits for her spay appointment.

Bon Bon, Spumoni and Sprinkles are sweet, playful girls who love to play and are looking for loving families who can give them the care, patience, and encouragement they need as they complete their treatment.

They do not need to be adopted together — each girl is simply looking for a loving forever home of her own.

Meet Trinity — A Little Calico Girl With a Big Heart

Meet Trinity, a beautiful calico girl born in May 2026.

Trinity is as sweet as they come and has the wonderful personality you hope for in a kitten.
She is friendly, affectionate, playful, and curious. She loves being around people and exploring everything the world has to offer.

Trinity is currently being treated for FIP, and just like her brother Troy, she is doing very well. She is making great progress and showing everyone what a happy, loving little girl she truly is.

Because Trinity is still completing her treatment, she is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program. Her new family can bring her home, continue giving her the love and care she needs while she finishes treatment, and she will be spayed when she is ready.

Please don’t let Trinity’s FIP diagnosis scare you away. FIP is treatable, and Trinity is already showing us what a difference treatment can make.

Her FIP journey is just one chapter in her story. What truly defines this little girl is her incredibly sweet personality, her zest for life, and her loving heart.

We are looking for someone with a BIG heart who is willing to look beyond her medical treatment and give this beautiful girl the forever home she deserves.

🐾 Meet Imogen — our longest-stay kitty (and she’s ready for forever!) 🐾

Hi, I’m Imogen—a shy little softie with a big “let’s be friends!” heart. I may start out cautious, but once I trust you… watch out—I’m a belly-rub champion! 💛 If we click, I’ll flop down and invite you to pet my lower tummy.

Quick heads-up: if you reach for my upper chest, I may get extra excited and go for a tiny “nibble” of excitement. But don’t worry—I won’t hurt you. My teeth were removed because they used to cause me pain, so I’m safe, sweet, and pain-free (truly!).

I’m a total joy in the home: I love gentle pets, brushing, and I’m also a toy enthusiast. And yes… I’m a top-tier cuddler—the kind of kitty who makes your day better without even trying.

📍 The big thing: Imogen has been in foster care since she was a kitten in 2020—the longest of our hearts. We adore her, but we don’t want her waiting any longer. She deserves a forever home where she can truly relax and be celebrated every day.

Our Pampered Chef fundraiser has officially come to an end, and thanks to everyone who shopped, donated, shared, and encouraged others to participate, we raised $8,618.35!

That money will go directly toward our $35,000 kennel renovation project, which will transform 12 kennels at BAHS.

We're incredibly grateful to every person who helped us get this far. You didn't just buy a kitchen gadget, you helped create a better, more comfortable space for dogs in our care.
