What a week we had at Cascade Classic! The weather was beautiful, the horses were great and the kiddos were so much fun! Big congratulations to both Violet and her pony Joy and Neve and Monkey on their first horse show. Both pairs picked up some great ribbons in their walk trot poles debut❤️ So looking forward to watching them grow! Good luck to everyone competing this week and congratulations to everyone on a job well done last week! Big thanks to Lalo for taking such great care of the horses and the riders!

Monkey is looking for an assertive rider wanting to jump crossrails up to the 2’. He has a previous background in Dressage and can teach all of the lateral movements. We all braved the rainy weather last week to attend the Pacific Northwest Hunter and Jumper show in Monroe. It has definitely been a moment since we have attended the show! We all had some great moments and some not so great moments, but overall we came home feeling like we accomplished something positive for ourselves and our horses 😊

Goldtree’s Jamais Vu or Tesla is a 5 year old 13.0 1/2h palomino mare. You will surely get noticed riding this Barbie doll pony! Tesla is still green, but has a wonderful willing attitude. Good mover, cute jump, smooth gaits and started on changes. Currently jumping crossrails and small verticals. This pony would make a great project for a teenager in a program or adult amateur looking to have fun. She has been ridden by children, but isn’t ready to be a full time babysitter yet. Derby Day was a success yesterday! Mountbatten and Nancy stepped up into their first International Hunter Derby and had wonderful, confident rounds. They ended up 4th overall and we couldn’t be happier.

Black Forest and Sarah finished up 5th place in the National Derby after a consistent performance. Broadway and Sarah had a decent round, but a rail kept them out of the ribbons.

We are so lucky to get the opportunity to ride these lovely animals in these fun classes!!

ISO: First show pony for an 8 year old beginner passive child to start in x rails and move up to short stirrup. Ideally an aged medium pony with uphill balance, nothing young or green please. Open to lease in the lower 5’s or purchase low mid 5’s. We are at Sacramento Spring Classic this week, if there’s anything nearby let us know!!
