Rippling Water Kennel was founded in 1994 with the goal of providing personalized boarding service for dogs. Located southwest of Bryson City, North Carolina, we provide a secluded and calm place to board your dog. The kennel area has 24-hour video surveillance of the dogs and the property. Each airy dog run has both indoor and outdoor space with free access to gravity-fed spring water outside. We

offer several larger runs suitable to accommodate two large breed dogs together if so desired. We find that dogs are happiest when their routine is familiar. At Rippling Water Kennel we are happy to give your dog food and treats from home so that his diet is not changed while staying with us. You are also welcome to bring toys and bedding so your pet has all the comforts of home. In order for your dog’s stay with us to be stress free, we spend time sitting or playing with your dog or simply talking to him if that is what he wants. Our goal is to meet the unique needs of your dog. Over 30 years of loving, breeding, training, and showing our own dogs has given us a profound concern for the welfare of all dogs and we transfer that insight and concern to each dog staying with us. WE do not offer group play. Our care is focused on the individual needs of each dog boarded with us. To that end, we do not limit the breeds of dogs we will board. We also work with veterinarians to assure that the vaccines required for your dog to stay with us are limited to those recommended by your personal veterinarian. The vaccines required at Rippling Water Kennel are: DHPP or DAP, current rabies. If your dog requires veterinarian prescribed medication, we will be happy to administer it. Please feel free to arrange a tour of our kennel.
