✨ Auggie says THANK YOU! ✨

A huge thank you to Bree Wright Clark for making Auggie look and feel like a brand-new boy!

When Auggie arrived at P.A.W.S. last week, he was covered in painful mats and desperately needed some TLC. Bree graciously fit him into her schedule that very same day, giving him the makeover he so badly needed.

Just look at that handsome face! We know he’s feeling so much more comfortable, and we are incredibly grateful for Bree’s kindness, generosity, and hard work.

Thank you, Bree, for helping our shelter pets not only look their best but feel their best too. Your compassion makes a world of difference. ❤️🐾

🐾 Meet Toby. 🐾

Sometimes the animals who need us the most simply appear.

One day, this sweet old gentleman wandered into a kind person’s yard. We don’t know how Toby found the strength to make it there. Maybe he had been wandering for days. Maybe someone abandoned him. We may never know his story before that moment.

What we do know is that he was in desperate need of help.

The Good Samaritan who found him brought him straight to P.A.W.S., and it was immediately clear that Toby needed veterinary care. He was severely malnourished, covered in fleas, his coat was dirty and neglected, and he had painful ulcerations throughout his mouth and on his tongue that made eating difficult.

The vet started him on antibiotics and medications to treat his infections and help his sore mouth begin to heal.

Today, Toby is making progress.

He’s still a skinny old fellow, but he’s gained weight, his infections are improving, and every day he looks a little brighter than the day before. Most importantly, his sweet personality has never faded. Despite everything he’s endured, Toby is gentle, affectionate, and simply wants someone to love.

Now we’re hoping for the next chapter in his story.

At this stage in his life, Toby deserves so much more than a shelter kennel. He deserves a soft bed, a warm lap, gentle hands, and a family who will let him spend his golden years knowing comfort, security, and unconditional love.

He still has healing to do, but he’s come such a long way already.

If you have room in your home and heart for a sweet senior cat, Toby will repay you every single day with quiet companionship, grateful purrs, and a love that only an old soul can give.

Let’s make sure Toby’s story doesn’t end with surviving.

Let’s give him the ending he truly deserves—a forever home. ❤️
