A couple weeks ago, this little guy made an unexpected early delivery at Dr. Ashton's farm. After some TLC, this little guy is thriving and doing very well now.

On Mondays and in her "free" time, Dr. Ashton enjoys seeing large animal patients through her own practice, AC Livestock Veterinary Services.

This is Kevin! Kevin came in as a walk in nearly frozen to death. His temp was 80 degrees and his heart rate was very low. He was very stiff and could barely lift his head. One of our techs Heather and assitant Brooke put him on heat, placed a catheter, and started fluids. After a couple hours of being on heat and receiving fluids he perked up and started moving around and wanting to eat. He was extremely skiddish at first but then warmed up to all of us and stole our hearts. After a month or so of being at the clinic and getting him healthy, he went to Friends of Feline Rescue Center and quickly after that was adopted out with his best friend from there.

We have exciting news! If you have been in our office in the last week, you may have seen a new face. After a long search, we are very excited to welcome our newest veterinarian, Dr. Brittany Ashton.
Dr. Ashton graduated in 2013 from Fairview High School, attended Findlay College for her undergrad studies where she graduated in 2017, and then graduated in 2021 from The Ohio State University with a degree in Veterinary medicine.
She previously worked at the Animal Care Clinic in Auburn, Indiana. She is also a newlywed, having just been married to her husband, Ben, this past September.
Dr. Ashton is now accepting patients and we hope you will all make her feel welcome in her new position at our clinic.
