Ever find a piece that would function perfectly for what you need but just doesn’t quite hit the mark for your taste? That’s where I come in and we put the Black Dog Designs spin on it.

Opened things up by removing the doors 🚪🚪
🖌️ added some color to match another piece in the home 🏠 Dutch Boy Paint Ironside
The drawer fronts and shelves didn’t go without receiving some love ❤️ of their own… an oil was applied to clean and polish those up. (Sorry for the glare in the photos! 📸)

💁🏻‍♀️ At 46 years old I think she’s looking pretty fresh!

Saved this piece from heading to the burn pile! 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Mid 1920’s Vintage/Antique Superior Furniture Co. Muskegon, Michigan dresser/chest with original hardware.

I’ve been looking forward to showing you this hidden beauty!
🎨 Had to start with removing the paint and marker, then fix the holes left behind from it being used as a work bench! 🔨 and cleaned up the pulls with some vinegar.

The furniture I source to refinish is solid and will last another century. The furniture I refinish will become a family heirloom.
