Due to no fault of his own other than his hormones were getting the best of him and I was teally hoping he would make a stallion prospect, Sprite is going to be looking for a new home. My plan was to keep him a stallion but after months of training to see how he handles we have decided that in order for him to advance he will be happier as a gelding. So with that said here's a little bit about Sprite ~ 2023 APHA gelding ~ Dudes A Genuine Sport. This boy has an amazing pedigree full of some of the best cow blood around. On top he's a grand son of the great Genuine Doc and great grand son to Smokey Poco Dude. On the bottom side he has Haidas Little Pep, Sonitalena and Gay Bar King. He has been at the trainers in Black Canyon City, AZ since last October and doing extremely well under saddle and has a solid foundation start on him. He is showing promise to be a very nice working cow/rope horse. He has been introduced to the flag and has been messed with the range cows that roam the ranch and has acclimated to them very well and once gelded will start to be hauled and introduced more to cows. He is currently barefoot and doing well without shoes. I am bummed because he is such a gorgeous well bred boy and he is full of personality that will make him a super fun gelding just not a stallion like I hoped. Asking mid xx,###. If I get a buyer in TX I can have him hauled back to Franklin, TX or anywhere along that route. Please no tire kickers. If you are looking for a well bred, well put together horse that has been started right and slow, has a good handle on him and is ready to go in any direction then Sprite is your boy.
