Rowdy here, friends! The countdown is on, and while many humans love the sparkle and boom, some of our furry friends… not so much.

Fireworks can be ruff, but don’t worry—I’ve got some paw-approved tips to keep your pets calm, cozy, and feeling the love tonight:

Set up a comfy, quiet spot indoors where your pet can relax
Turn on calming music or white noise to help drown out the fireworks
Dish out extra cuddles, belly rubs, and treats
Keep pets safely indoors and away from windows to avoid any panic
Stay close and reassure them—your presence means everything!
And for extra comfort (and cuteness!), slip them into some cozy PJs like Rose and Diesel

Rowdy here, and y’all better believe I’m paws-itively excited for Christmas dinner at Rowdy Paws Pet Lodge! 🎄🎅🧑‍🎄
This year, we’re serving up a festive feast:
* Shredded turkey
* Cranberry sauce
* Green beans
* Mashed potatoes
* Pumpkin purée topped with whipped cream

Even I’m excited for this meal—if I could, I’d be doing zoomies around the lodge right now! While the humans are out having safe travels, our furry friends are gonna be merry, bright, and full of belly rubs, treats, and festive fun!

Be sure to swipe through the photos to see some behind-the-scenes fun of my friend Chili, who bravely (and happily) tested out the pumpkin purée to make sure it was paw-fect for everyone. Quality control is very important around here!

Holiday Hours Reminder:�We’ll be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 7–10 AM and 4–6:30 PM for drop-offs and pick-ups.�Morning drop-offs are preferred so everyone can settle in and enjoy the holiday fun!
So get ready, pups and kitties… it’s time to chow down, wag those tails, and celebrate the season in style!

We’re waggin’ our tails and sendin’ all the good luck vibes to the Texas A&M Aggies as they take on Miami tomorrow! Play hard, play proud, and go fetch that win!

Our sweet girl Sierra wanted me to pass along a special message too—she’s hopin’ her look-a-like Reveille gets plenty of treats (and maybe an extra belly rub or two) while she cheers on the team.

And hey, if you’re lookin’ to get your Aggie pups ready for their next game day, be sure to make an appointment with one of our groomers, Faith! With a fresh cut, your pup might just look as cute as Sierra on the sidelines.

Today is National Twins Day, and you know I had to bark about two of our very own twin-lookin’ superstars… Maggie Mae and Stella!
These two show up lookin’ so identical that even I have to take a second sniff to figure out who’s who. Same adorable faces, same sweet vibes, same “we-run-this-place” energy. Honestly? Iconic.

I’m just real glad our Wranglers can tell them apart, because if it were up to me? I’d be calling them “Twin 1” and “Twin 2” all day.

And guess what? We’ve got ANOTHER set of twins around here — Hank and Heidi!�Double the twins means double the cuteness… and double the confusion for me. Good thing the Wranglers are pros.

Today is National Chocolate Covered Day, which means humans are out here dipping EVERYTHING in chocolate like it’s a sport.
Buuuut your official Safety Pup has an important reminder:

Chocolate-covered ANYTHING is dangerous for dogs and cats!
�Even a tiny bit can make us really sick, so keep all the sweet, drippy, chocolatey goodness far away from curious snouts and sneaky paws.
And hey… even though we love our chocolate colored photogenic friends like Kona, our dog and cat stomachs definitely do not love anything else that’s chocolate! So keep the real stuff far, far away from us.

Let’s be honest… if it’s within reach, we will investigate. We’re professional snack scouts — it’s in our DNA. But this treat is for humans only!
So enjoy the chocolate-covered chaos, friends —�Just keep your furry buddies safe, snack-free, and full of love instead.

This Wednesday the 17th, we’ll be having our Christmas party from 11:00–1:30, so the lodge will be closed during that time while we celebrate with lots of holiday cheer, wagging tails, and big smiles.
But don’t you fret—I’ll be watching the clock and waiting patiently, because I can’t wait to see all of our festive friends once our celebration has ended! Today is National Poinsettia Day, which means all the humans are out here decorating like they’re auditioning for Santa’s workshop. And listen… I respect the festive vibes. I truly do.
BUTTTT—your favorite holiday safety officer (me) has an important reminder:
Poinsettias can be poisonous to pups like me AND to all my feline friends, too!
So if your humans bring those big red leaf things into the house, make sure they keep ’em up high and away from curious snouts and paws. Trust me… a holiday tummy ache is NOT on anyone’s wish list.

HEY EVERYBODY, ROWDY HERE!

Guess what? It’s National Cat Lovers Month,
which means the spotlight is officially on all my feline friends—yes, even the ones who act like they’re too cool to say hi when I walk by.
And listen… if your kitties need a place to kick back, snack, nap, judge the world, and rule their domain like the tiny royalty they are, you know they’ve gotta come stay at Mrs. Kitty’s Cantina. They’ve got cozy corners, plenty of toys, treats that even I’m jealous of (don’t tell the dogs), and more places to nap than I can count on my paws.

So bring your kitties in and let them soak up all the pampering they deserve—while you keep your Cat Lover status going strong this month.
