We offer lessons for children 7 and up in Hunter/Jumper/Equitation. We are a full board lesson facility with a small 8 stall barn. We offer both a Middle School and High School IEA teams. Our show calendar ranges from schooling to USEF rated shows. Cornerstonefarmga.com

Jake came on into our lives in late 2018. In 2019, he found his person. A teenager named Caroline. She found him challenging, but loved his personality. They clicked immediately.
After she went to college, she was so sweet to let him stick around and be leased in barn. Reagan learned so much from him. After that, I had the privilege of taking over his care. He gave lessons for a brief time before I decided to fully retire him. He didn’t argue and proceeded to enjoy the life of leisure.

He was brave, compliant, hardy, and kind little QH. Smart, cute mover, and had a ton of personality. It was no accident his show name was Smooth Criminal. He mellowed as he aged and became a favorite of all the other geldings and employees. He will be missed a bunch. We love you Jake. Rest easy sweet boy.

Millie loves our little Turbo pony almost as much as she loves her little brother. She invited him to help turn Turbo out. So sweet.

🔥☀️Camp II was a hot one!☀️🔥

We still had a good time! What a week! Every single camper accomplished doing something for the first time ever which is pretty cool.

Last day of camp is always such a good day. We ride ba****ck! We paint the horses and take photos for the frames they have made, we bathe ponies, and we play on the water slide! Does summer get better than this? I think not.

Thanks for joining us everybody. Excited to see so many of you in our lesson program soon as well! Welcome. 😀

We couldn’t do camp without the absolute BEST lesson horses and camp helpers. I’m so grateful for both. They are all incredible with the kids. Such a huge help to them and me. You guys are the best.

Day 3 of summer camp!!

None of them have complained about the heat. We have had fun riding every day, painting pictures frames, tie dying camp shirts, and learning all about horses.

Today, we even had fun riding our horse simulator, Iron Jack. The sprinklers are always nice too.

Tomorrow is our last day of camp. 😭 Water Slide Day is always so much fun though.

Big thanks to my students for being flexible and all lessoning at 7am every day!

Camp Session II has kicked off today!! Another group of campers that I am excited to have with us for the week. Levels of riders ranged from never been around a horse to capable of jumping small courses. We love helping them discover more about horses!

Can’t wait for tomorrow!!

Miss Carol is in her 80’s. She’s never had structured lessons until she moved to our farm from CO last year. Today was her first time riding her mare out in the field and I am so happy for her. Her mare, Glory, is extraordinarily smart but has been misunderstood in her past. I love seeing owners and their horses gain the confidence and trust in one another to reach their goals.

Joanna has been working hard on transitioning from the lunge to independent riding at the posting trot.

She posting trotted nearly a whole lap this week in her lesson! We celebrated with cooling out together in the field. So much fun! Proud of this young lady!!

Yesterday I took Montserrat & Gabriella to clinic with John Abbott! What a great opportunity for these young ladies.

John is a wonderful clinician and trainer. The girls enjoyed their lessons and left the ring feeling empowered. They both have not been to an off property clinic before and were a bit intimidated by the idea. Both of them remembered to breathe, learn, and listen. Great day for sure.

Big thanks to Ashley Peters at Southern Sky Farm for hosting at your farm. Big thanks to Alex Thaxton for setting this clinic up! The younger riders rarely get opportunities to ride with the big clinicians. Very excited they got the chance!

Montse and Echo did the 2’ group and did some new exercises to challenge them. Echo is the best boy and so good at teaching her all the things. Oxers are new this year for them. Fun to see her successfully do things nervous and succeed. Those are the building blocks of confidence and education.

Gabby rode Turbo for the last time yesterday as she’s just gotten her own pony this week. It was bitter sweet seeing them yesterday, but she cantered an entire course for the first time away from home. She is so coachable and had fun learning from Mr Abbott! What a send off for them as a team.
