Freyja’s Happily Ever After: From Grease Litter to Family Snuggle Buddy 🐾❤️
Sometimes fate works in funny ways. One day, this family was casually scrolling Instagram when they saw a post from NDLB featuring a puppy from the "Grease Litter." Her name was Rizzo—and she looked exactly like their dog, Bear. 🐶
They reached out for a meet and greet, and it was love at first sight. On February 15th, 2023, Rizzo officially became Freyja—and the newest member of the family.
From day one, Freyja was curious and playful, but it didn’t take long for her to find her place. She quickly attached to Bear, who showed her the ropes. They’ve been best friends (and snuggle buddies) ever since. 🐾💕
These days, Freyja fully embraces her role as the little sister. She steals Bear’s toys, nibbles his neck to get him to play, and occasionally sits right on him—but the bond they share is unbreakable. They wrestle, romp, and always end the day curled up together.
Since adoption, Freyja has grown—literally and figuratively. “It’s hard to believe there was ever a time she wasn’t part of our family.”

Freyja turned out to be mostly German Shepherd and Malinois. Learning this helped her family understand her better, especially when it comes to exercise and mental stimulation. Knowing her breeds made training more fun—and a lot more successful!
From rescue pup to best friend, Freyja found exactly where she was meant to be. 🏡❤️
