Meet Byron!

Byron is a Labrador Retriever/Husky mix who’s equal parts adventure buddy and cuddle bug. He loves to play, go on walks, and then flop down in the coziest spot he can find—beds are his favorite!

Byron is house trained, crate trained, and knows sit and lay down. He’s also working on stay and loves showing off how smart he is. While Byron adores people and snuggling close, he would do best as the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the love and attention.

This handsome boy is looking for an active family who’s ready for both fun and snuggles. If you’re searching for a loyal, loving companion with plenty of personality, Byron might just be your perfect match.

‼️ Pine County!! Cora escaped the yard at her home. Please keep an eye out for her. If you spot Cora, DO NOT chase, call, whistle, etc. as this might scare her. Instead, snap a photo, take note of her location, and contact the number listed. ‼️

Who wants to name a puppy!? To help raise funds for our rescue, we are having a ✨ name a puppy fundraiser! ✨

These adorable puppies are about two weeks old. They’re growing and getting stronger every day! Momma Tamara is doing a great job taking care of them.

🐾 Meet Aurora (aka Alicia)! 🐾

This 1.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix (35 lbs) is sunshine wrapped in fur ☀️—sweet, affectionate, and always ready to greet you with hugs and kisses. She’s fantastic with other dogs, loves her stuffed toys, and enjoys peaceful sunbathing sessions outside.

Aurora is fully potty, leash, and house trained, and while she has hip dysplasia, she doesn’t let it dim her spirit! She just needs a loving family willing to keep her healthy with gentle walks, a mobility diet, and joint supplements. In return, she’ll give you endless love, loyalty, and snuggles. ❤️

She’s looking for a calm home and maybe a chill dog friend to match her pace. Aurora truly is the sweetest girl who just wants a soft place to land and a human (or two!) to love.

Hi there! I’m Soren and I’m the sweetest little guy you’ll ever meet. I’m super chill and easy-going, love hanging out with my siblings, but I also appreciate some solo chill time.

I absolutely adore kids—they’re my favorite playmates! I’m already doing great with potty training, and I just know I’ll master it completely soon. I’m curious about the world, love exploring outside, and can’t wait to try new adventures like car rides and leash walks!

I’m Larry, a sweet yorkipoo puppy who loves to play and cuddle. I get along great with other dogs and I love kids! I’m a little shy at first; I can be nervous around stairs and new things, but give me a little time, and I’ll show you my happy, affectionate side. I’m still working on walking on a leash, and I can get a bit frozen sometimes, but I promise, I’m worth it!

I’m doing really well with potty training and I’m also learning to love my kennel. Sometimes I bark a little at first, but I quickly settle down and sleep through the night like a champ. I also love being carried, getting belly rubs, and snuggling in your lap.

A few additional things about me: I haven’t met any cats yet, I can get car sick, and I’ll need a little dental work (don’t worry—the rescue will cover it, you just need to bring me to the vet in C**n Rapids or Maple Grove).

Say hello to Paisley Rae, a sweet, gentle, and oh-so-loveable Mini Schnauzer! Paisley may be a little shy at first—new sounds and experiences can startle her—but give her patience, a calm environment, and lots of love, and she’ll quickly become your loyal little shadow. She’s friendly with dogs of all sizes, loves cats, kids, and adults, and she’s the perfect companion for a home that’s ready to shower her with affection.

She travels well in the car, enjoys quiet moments, and is learning basic commands (she especially loves “come” when you kneel and offer reassurance!). Leash walking and crate training are a work in progress, but she’s improving every day. With consistent love and gentle guidance, Paisley will thrive!

🎃 Happy Halloween from the NDLB team! This Halloween, skip the tricks and treat yourself to Aspen, a nearly 3-year-old Husky mix with a heart full of love, a head full of fluff, and just the right dash of goofy charm! 👻

Aspen is kennel trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit, shake, and down—though his best move might just be casting those puppy dog eyes that magically melt hearts (no spell required!). 🪄💖

He’s an outdoor enthusiast who lives for backyard games, zoomies, and helping you “water” the garden. Aspen does well with other dogs—he currently lives with a full squad of canine foster siblings—but he prefers slow intros, especially on a leash. With a little patience and guidance, he warms up just fine!

He’d love a home with a fenced yard to safely run and play, but after all the excitement, he’s a top-tier snuggle bug. Just a heads up: Aspen’s favorite place to nap is right behind your legs, so he may also qualify as a part-time tripping hazard. 😅

Aspen absolutely adores kids and is working on not getting too excited when greeting them (he just can’t contain his love sometimes!). With continued training, he’ll be the well-mannered pup of your dreams.

Happy Halloween! 🎃 today is the last day to place an order for a holiday wreath. NDLB has partnered with the Hines family to offer these gorgeous, locally-made holiday wreaths. They smell and look heavenly.
