🎃 Happy Halloween from Nesta! 👻

Wishing all our friends a spooktacular and fun-filled Halloween! 🦇 While everyone is out collecting treats, this sweet girl is hoping the ultimate treat comes early: finding her forever family.

Meet Nesta, a gorgeous Shepherd mix born around September 17, 2024!

Nesta is the definition of a "good girl." She has a wonderful, easygoing personality, is incredibly well-behaved, and has a deeply nurturing soul. Whether she’s playing with her toys or curling up for some downtime, she is an absolute joy to have around.

Kid-Approved: She is especially wonderful with children, making her a dream addition to a family home! 💛

Hi, I’m Kit! I’m a mystery-mix of Great Pyrenees and Doberman, and a 100% certified professional weirdo.

My daily schedule is extremely strict:

Pre-dinner cardio: Three full Olympic-track-star laps around my kennel.

Couch acquisition: Instantly stealing your spot on the couch or bed. Crates are for peasants; I am a princess. 👑🛋️

Human exploitation: I have figured out that you are essentially a walking, talking belly-rub dispenser. I approve.

When it comes to social life, I love other dogs! I might come in a little hot with the bossy camp counselor energy at first, but once we're past that, I’m your best friend and a stellar puppy babysitter. Cats, squirrels, birds, and small fluffy things? Absolutely not.

I love long walks, hoarding soft toys, and doing zoomies in a sturdy yard (don’t worry, I’m not a fence-jumper!). I even practice good manners, like listening to "leave it" when I’m yelling at the neighbors.

I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I trust you, you get a goofy, dramatic, deeply loyal best friend who makes the little wins (like coming when called) feel like hitting the lottery.

I’ve been waiting long enough. Are you ready to let me ruin your chances of ever sitting on your own couch comfortably again? Come get me! ❤️🏡

Authorities are reporting a shocking jailbreak involving none other than MILKDUDE MIKE! 🥛🐶

Mike was recently spotted being broken out of the local pound by one of our very own core volunteers. 👀🚔 And while we can’t confirm whether any laws were technically broken… we CAN confirm that this little guy is officially OUT! 🎉

But now, the investigation continues…

🔎 Our biggest mission? Finding Mike his forever family!

This handsome boy has already done enough time behind bars. He deserves a warm bed, a loving family, and a life where the only thing he’s “on the run” from is someone trying to give him kisses. ❤️

Personality: Sweet, intelligent, loving, and an absolute social butterfly. She loves meeting new people of all ages and is a total natural with other dogs!

Cat Status: Wants so badly to be besties with the resident cats (even if her enthusiastic puppy energy is a little much for them right now 🐱😂).

You have officially become the center of her universe. Get ready to have your feet kept warm, your favorite blankets claimed, and your heart completely stolen.

Here is a little peek into Shocka’s world:

☀️ Sun-Worshipper Extraordinaire: Shocka has a strict “no cold weather” policy. Anything below 50°F is a hard nope. Winter walks are short, but summer sunbathing? Endless. She’s a warm-weather girl through and through!

🛡️ Neighborhood Security: She takes her patrols very seriously. Delivery drivers, squirrels, and passersby watch out! Because she loves her job so much, she’d thrive best in a detached home without shared walls (since not everyone appreciates her built-in alarm system).

🥰 Ultimate Cuddle Bug: New people can be a bit overwhelming at first, so she appreciates a patient human who will let her warm up at her own pace. But once she trusts you? She’s all about the snuggles—she’ll even give you a full-body hug to get through scary things like vet visits!

Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
Age: ~5 months old
Personality: Social, affectionate, food/toy-motivated (training is a breeze!), and a certified blanket-snuggler.
Ideal Home: Active families, singles, or couples looking for a loyal shadow who gets along great with other dogs.

He is already kennel-trained and sleeps quietly through the night for 7–9 hours! Potty training is a work in progress, but he's learning every day with consistency.

🚨 FOUR LITTLE LIVES ARE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SAY YES. 🚨
We need fosters. And honestly… this one is breaking our hearts.
These four little dogs were abandoned at an outdoor pound in Arkansas. They were left behind, with nowhere to go and no one coming back for them. They didn’t choose this. They didn’t deserve this. And they certainly don’t deserve to spend another night outside wondering why their family left them behind.
Now, bad weather is coming. And we simply cannot turn our backs on them.
When our friends in Arkansas reached out, we had a choice to make.
We could say, “We don’t have room.”
Or we could say, “We’ll figure it out.”
We chose “we’ll figure it out.” ❤️
Because they deserve that chance.
Our friends in Arkansas are working to get all four of these little ones fully vetted and ready to travel before they come to us. But we need the most important piece of the puzzle:
FOSTERS.
A foster home means a warm, safe place to sleep. A soft bed. A full belly. Someone to show them that people can be kind. Someone to give them the time and love they need to decompress and learn what it feels like to be safe.
They have already been abandoned once.
We refuse to let them be abandoned again simply because we don't have a foster home waiting.
We know fostering can feel like a big commitment. But you don't have to save all four. You don't have to know exactly what comes next. You just have to be willing to open your home and give one of these little souls a chance.
Four dogs. Four foster homes could change four entire lives.
Please, if you have ever thought about fostering, now is the time.

They didn't deserve what happened to them.
