A little over 3 and a half years ago, I found myself not knowing how to balance a high stress management career with being a solo parent.
Then it clicked. I had taken a grooming hiatus and a side journey as a retail & food service manager for almost a decade, but I still always kept my toolbox near.
And then almost overnight, right after the click, my baby business was born. Each & every part of this journey felt meant to be from the very start to the very end.
With it, it brought blessings in the form of wonderful human beings, many of them whom I now consider friends. Through hundreds of clients & getting to know and love other groomers, whether across the street or overseas.
And, ohh, my four-legged friends. This reel only features the tiniest fraction of all of the special pups I got the honor to know and groom. So many more, some still here & some that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge... each one will stay living in my heart forever.
At-home grooming is so special and the bonds go deep when you get to care for a pet in that environment. The hard part in that is, when you move from the home and the city…. the special people and your business don't follow. Moving wasn't on my 2026 bingo card, but I see how much good is to come with a decision that was so hard to make.
I'm off to new exciting opportunities, to spend some overdue and needed time with my family, be a mom on my terms, and to get real rest for the first time in over a decade.
I have so many ideas and a possible teaching opportunity, which is the core of my passion. All of this is getting to follow my heart all the way for once, & though it's so intensely bittersweet... I am so excited to circle back & deliver some updates when the time is right.
If we have *ever* interacted & you're seeing this, you matter greatly to me. And so many of you are clients & friends I've met along the way—I couldn't have done any of this without you.
Thank you.
Not goodbye, but see you later...
