Ever wonder what cattery life looks like when it comes to feeding cats and kittens? 😅
Think late nights, less sleep, and mixing food while the kids are finally in bed!
One of the questions we get asked most often is, "What do you feed?" The answer is a combination of foods. While we'd love every family to continue feeding PawTree, we know every home has different preferences and budgets.
After a lot of research, conversations with fellow breeders, and years of experience, we've found that feeding a variety of quality foods helps make transitions easier on our kittens' tummies when they go to their new homes.
So what does that look like? Three giant totes filled with a mix of foods, treats, and vitamins. We focus on nutrient-dense, high-quality foods and balance them with other options our kittens may encounter in pet homes. (Think more wholesome home-cooked meals with a little fast food mixed in—not the other way around! 😉) Plus, our cats and kittens also enjoy canned and fresh foods.
The real question is... how long do you think these three totes last? 👀

Ethical breeding isn't cheap. Between premium food, health testing, veterinary care, genetic testing, enrichment, supplies, and countless hours of hands-on care, there's a lot that goes into raising healthy, well-socialized kittens.
When people ask why our kittens are priced the way they are, the answer is simple: we're investing in their health, temperament, and well-being long before they ever join their new families. ❤️
And honestly? We wouldn't have it any other way.
