Welcome! We are KJWolfandC**ns a family loving Maine C**n cattery in Southeast Iowa. KJandtheC**ns is a small intimate cattery located in Southeast Iowa.

We are family orientated and love our fur-babies, they live in our home with us and get spoiled daily.

Oh Dolly… you touched so many hearts. ❤️

This one feels a little extra personal for me. I was actually semi-related to this amazing lady for a small portion of my childhood. My mom was engaged to one of her cousins when I was around 7–11, so for a little while I got to say I was “related” to Dolly Parton—which, as a little girl, I thought was pretty cool! 😂❤️

I also had the opportunity to meet her at Dollywood when I was a young Girl Scout, and that is a memory I will always cherish.

Growing up in the Gatlinburg/Sevierville area, Dolly was such a familiar and beloved part of the place I called home. Dollywood, her music, her books, and the kindness she represented were all part of the magic of growing up in East Tennessee. ❤️

She truly was such an amazing, down-to-earth woman. I pray she is enjoying that glorious place called Heaven, holding Carl Dean’s hand and talking with Jesus. ❤️

One thing I especially love is that I now get to tell my son that Dolly gives him books and teach him about who she was. I grew up receiving some of those books myself, so being able to share that part of her legacy with him feels extra special.

I think that’s part of why this loss feels so big. Dolly wasn’t just a singer or entertainer. She brought joy to generations of people through her music, her books, her kindness, her love for children, and her love for animals. She made a difference in so many lives without ever needing to know the people she touched.

As someone who spends my days surrounded by animals and raising kittens that will become beloved members of families, I can’t help but appreciate the kind of legacy Dolly leaves behind—a legacy of love, joy, generosity, and making the world a little brighter. ❤️

If your heart is broken over this news today, you aren’t alone. I truly believe Dolly touched so many lives, in so many different ways.

What a beautiful legacy she leaves behind. 🦋❤️

✨ WISP HAS FOUND HER HOME! ✨

Wisp has officially been RESERVED! 🥹💗 We are so excited for this sweet girl to meet her forever family!

Now… let’s find homes for the boys! 🏡🐾

💚 DOGWOOD
Dogwood is our big, playful boy and a total purring machine! 🥰 This boy has SO much personality. He loves to play, has plenty of goofy kitten energy, and is always ready for some fun. But as soon as you give him attention, that purr starts going! He is growing into an absolute hunk, and we have loved watching his personality develop. He truly has such a sweet, fun-loving nature. 💚

🧡 JOHN
John has such a fun personality! He enjoys doing his own thing but also loves getting attention and being loved on. He tends to become obsessed with certain toys and will proudly claim them as his own — all in good fun! 😄 He’s very curious and loves to explore, making him such an entertaining little guy to have around.

These two handsome boys are still waiting for their forever families, and we would absolutely LOVE to see them find their people! ❤️

Yesterday, you got to meet the husband-and-wife team behind KJWOLFANDCOONS... so today, it's time to introduce our littlest team member! 🩵

Meet William!🐾

William has been growing up right alongside our Maine C**ns, and it has been such a joy to watch the special bond they share. Whether he's helping us "supervise" kitten playtime, handing out treats, or giving extra cuddles, our cats are always happy to have him around. They truly are gentle giants, and watching them interact with him reminds us every day why we fell in love with this breed.

One of the things we love most about Maine C**ns is their affectionate, patient, and family-oriented personalities. While every cat is an individual, we've found they often make wonderful companions for children.

For those who are new here, welcome! We are Jordan and Kendra, the family behind KJWOLFANDCOONS, a small, family-owned Maine C**n cattery in Iowa. We are passionate about preserving and improving this incredible breed by raising healthy, well-socialized Maine C**ns with loving temperaments. Our breeding cats undergo extensive health testing, and our kittens are raised right in our home with our family, receiving plenty of love, socialization, and daily interaction.
