We had a great time celebrating out Veterinary Technicians last week As a new week opens we want to take an opportunity to recognize the rest of your animal care team, our Veterinary Assistants and our Kennel Assistants.
Ginny is a veterinary assistant. Ginny is an always pleasant and happy person, ready to jump in wherever she is needed. She also takes on extra tasks such as the maintenance of our laboratory equipment. Ginny has a passion for dachshunds. If you come in with a dachshund and hear someone yell “yeah there’s a weiner here!” That would be Ginny.
Adrienne has worked for BVH off and on since she was 16 years old, first as a kennel assistant and now as a veterinary assistant. She has a passion for training and is currently pursuing higher education to be a certified obedience trainer. She loves dogs of all shapes and sizes, but is particularly fond of her two old lady chihuahuas.
Sierra, is a veterinary assistant who truly loves her job. She comes in everyday excited and looking forward to what the day will bring. Sierra has no favorites; she loves cats and dogs equally with three cats and her own slightly crazy labradoodle at home.
Zara has been a veterinary assistant with BVH since 2011. She is a full time RN now but comes in on Saturday shifts because she still loves veterinary medicine too much to give it up completely.
Tina is brand new to BVH but she is excited to learn everything veterinary medicine has to offer as a veterinary assistant. When she is not here with BVH she works for her families contracting/construction business.
Brinny, is a graduate of White Mountain Community College Veterinary Assistant Program. She is also brand new to BVH, she comes to us with a lot of experience in shelter medicine. We are very happy to have her joining the team.
Ashley K is our senior kennel technician and our general handyman. She is great with the dogs and cats who are nervous about boarding, and she can fix ANYTHING. She is our hidden superhero.
Ashlie W, is also a kennel technician. She has been learning more about proper grooming techniques. She is a great help to the surgical team cleaning and sterilizing instruments. Ashlie is also responsible for the punny jokes you will see on our front sign. Ashlie’s true animal passion is guinea pigs.
Hannah joined the kennel team just over a year ago. She has been a great reliable addition to the team and has been wonderful for covering extra shifts for other team members' vacations.
You are a fabulous team to work with. We thank each and every one of your for all you do everyday to help keep our patients happy and healthy.
