Grand Prix Equine

Grand Prix Equine An equine veterinary practice focused on the specific needs of the equine athlete. Dr. Mark Baus founded Grand Prix Equine in August, 2009.

Grand Prix Equine is a veterinary practice providing focused care for the performance horse. His practice offers superior care through a full range of services performed at the stable and outstanding customer service to the owner & trainer. Doctors Kremberg, Abell, and Rothacker have joined the practice alongside Dr. Baus as owners as well as our associate doctors Bubulka, Batterton, and Zitzmann.

Representing a new vision in the practice of equine veterinary medicine, our services begin at the time of purchase and continue throughout the horse’s rigorous and mobile life on the show circuit. Allow us to show you the difference Grand Prix Equine can bring to your stable. Our doctors are strategically located to serve clients in Connecticut, Southwestern Massachusetts, the New York metropolitan region, Long Island, and Wellington.

A Closer Look at Equine Podiatry with Dr. Brian Beasley 🐴🔍

Healthy hooves are the foundation of a sound and successful horse. As an equine podiatrist, Dr. Brian Beasley specializes in diagnosing and treating complex hoof conditions, including navicular syndrome, quarter cracks, laminitis, and other performance-limiting issues.

What sets Dr. Beasley apart is his collaborative approach. He works closely with both veterinarians and farriers to create tailored treatment plans — combining advanced diagnostics, therapeutic shoeing, and medical care to restore hoof health and improve biomechanics.

We’re fortunate to have Dr. Beasley’s expertise as part of the Grand Prix Equine team, allowing us to provide a truly well-rounded, comprehensive approach to equine health and performance.
