URGENT PLEA: Bandit Needs a Home 🐾
We are issuing an urgent plea to our community to help Bandit, a handsome husky who has been with us since July. This sweet boy is showing increasing signs of kennel stress, and we are heartbroken to see him declining. We need to get him out of the shelter and into a loving adopter or foster home as soon as possible.
Bandit is a true love bug with people of all ages. He craves human interaction and affection, and bonds quickly with those who show him kindness. However, the confinement and noise of the shelter environment are causing him significant distress.
What to know about Bandit:
✨️People-Focused: Bandit's heart belongs to people. He thrives on human companionship and will be a devoted and loyal friend to his family.
✨️Dog Selectivity: While Bandit has shown some positive interactions with one of our volunteer's dogs, he can be particular about his canine companions. A meet and greet in a neutral, off-site location is essential if you have other dogs in the home. We want to ensure a harmonious match for everyone.
✨️Prostate Condition & House Training: Bandit has a medical condition affecting his prostate, which unfortunately impacts his ability to control his urination. He will require a patient and understanding adopter who is committed to working with him on house training. This will involve consistent routines, frequent potty breaks, and potentially the use of belly bands or diapers. We are happy to discuss this further with potential adopters and provide guidance.
Bandit is a wonderful dog who deserves a loving forever home. He's been waiting far too long, and we are growing concerned about his well-being. Please, if you have the heart and the home to provide Bandit with the care and love he needs, please contact us immediately. He needs you.
