Linda was someone who deserved the largest level of respect from all. Her contributions to horse sport will be long remembered. 🐴❤️

The National Show Hunter Hall of Fame is deeply saddened by the news this morning that Linda Andrisani passed away peacefully in her sleep last night. We all know that she was an outstanding horsewoman and one of the best judges to ever grace a judges booth. We were also fortunate as exhibitors to have the honor of showing in front of her. You didn't get away with much...well, actually, nothing. She set the standard for all of us to emulate. Linda was one of a kind...and of course, the right kind. She will be sorely missed.

So much effort is put in during show week by Marty Bauman, a man who never shied away from a branded outfit or a difficult question or an interview with any media platform - all in the name of promoting the message and importance of the Hampton Classic, and becoming an integral figure to help us get to 50 years. If you meet someone wearing a stylish and also possibly Yankees hat - but with an accent that drops the r, you’ll know you’ve met Marty. And chances are, you’re gonna love him just like we do.

🩵🐴 We’ve always been Team Conrad. Today’s throwback highlights someone who has built the Hampton Classic’s 50 year legacy - literally. Conrad Homfeld transitioned from Grand Prix winning rider on Touch of Class in 1982 to revered course designer for decades, and created the memorable blend of style and sport that defines our show today.

Each summer our rings turn pretty, with classical elements highlighting the history of the sport and modern innovations in safety and practicality. Conrad’s dedication to a balance of honoring roots and tradition while embracing current advancements has helped cement the Hampton Classic as an iconic event for every equestrian’s calendar. 🐴🩵

9 special riders with a variety of amazing horses have won the Hampton Classic Grand Prix multiple times - ranging from 2 to 7 wins each to be exact.
