While Stanley and Skye’s parents enjoy a relaxing week in Lavallette at the beach, these young pups are having their own vacation here at Doggie Zen Den.

Their days have been filled with zoomies across the yard, chasing balls, soaking up the sunshine, and, of course, plenty of cuddle breaks. Watching these two together has been such a joy. Their love for each other shines through in everything they do, and it’s a beautiful reminder that dogs thrive when they’re together in a calm, loving environment with our undivided attention.

We pride ourselves with welcoming only one dog or one family of dogs at a time, so every dog enjoys personalized attention, a peaceful, safe home, and all the love they deserve while their families are away. We love on them as if they are our own ❤️🐾

Anyone else feel like they're running a full-time door service all summer long? 😂

Between the dogs wanting in and out, the kids running outside to play, and everyone forgetting to shut the door behind them, it can feel like the air conditioner is working overtime.

One of the simplest things we've added to our home is this magnetic screen curtain for our sliding door, and honestly, it's made a bigger difference than I expected.

Whether it's the dogs heading outside or us going from the deck into the house, you simply push through the opening and the magnetic strip automatically closes behind them.

The best part? It helps keep the cool air inside the house instead of letting it escape every time someone opens the door and leaves it open.

It's one of those little things that makes everyday life easier:

🐾June Availability Update

Many of you know our family is currently going through a difficult season as we support a loved one during this family crisis. Maria will be traveling to Florida to support her brother during this time, while Mike remains home to continue caring for our previously scheduled dogs and wedding commitments.

Because of this, we are unable to accept additional boarding, daycare, drop-in, or walking clients for the month of June beyond what is already booked.

We are incredibly grateful for your kindness, patience, prayers, and understanding during this time. Thank you for always supporting our small family business and trusting us with your fur babies. 🤍

How could I not LOVE what we do with faces like these ❤️❤️❤️

Roxy and Blu seriously love the camera and we are completely obsessed with them 🥹🐾

Some days I just stop and think about how lucky we are to spend our days loving on these sweet dogs. Their personalities, their happy faces, their excitement, their cuddles. It truly fills our hearts.

These two definitely understood the assignment for picture day 📸✨

Another beautiful afternoon with Scruffy 🐾💗

Scruffy was waiting in the window and met us at the door the moment we arrived.

Lunch was eaten quickly… because clearly there were more important things to do. 😄

Straight to the door he went, ready for his walk and hoping to see a familiar face along the way.

And sure enough…
his favorite girl was outside waiting.

The two shared a few treats, spent a little time together, and enjoyed their usual visit before continuing on with the afternoon adventure. 🐾

Today’s walk took a slightly different turn with a new route through the neighborhood, giving Scruffy a little extra to explore while taking care of all his important business along the way.

Back home, it was time to settle in at the door and peacefully watch the world go by. 🌿

This is the beauty of personalized drop-in care.
