As many of you know, we’ve just wrapped up a huge renovation, and our new space is shining brighter than ever. It finally feels like our facility matches the top-tier medicine we’ve always been proud to provide… and wow, does it feel amazing!

Kind caring staff that clearly love animals. The office has an excellent communication system and they always follow up after appointments to make sure everything is going well. Happy to work with such a fantastic organization 💙🐾

Six years ago, Linda Cormier received a message about a Doberman in need, a year-old dog named Eli, tied outside, starving, and abandoned. Despite his rough start, Eli was “delightful” from the moment he arrived at Linda’s home in Brewster. 🐾

Recently, Eli faced another challenge: a large growth on his paw requiring surgery that cost thousands of dollars. Fortunately, Brewster Veterinary Hospital is an affiliate of the Sampson Fund. Together, we were able to help with the cost. Eli had surgery in August to remove a large paw tumor, thankfully non-malignant. He’s now healthy and back to his delightful self!

A beautiful part of this story? The day she first heard about Eli was her late mother’s birthday. She saw it as a sign. "He needed to be rescued, and he saved me,” says Linda. ❤️

The claws came out during our staff Olympics today! 🏁

Whether they were blind folded and pointed in the direction of a cat butt, guessing what their doctors were drawing, collecting each others “urine”, completely devouring a fruit roll up, choosing items blindfolded, or scooting and galloping through relays, per usual our staff did it and they did it BIG! The proof is in the kitty litter and it’s no surprise that our team got through every obstacle together - competition or not! It’s just the BVH way, and we couldn’t ask for a better group of humans.

Team Winer took home the gold 🥇 but every single member of the team is a winner!

Murray, our four-legged office manager, worked extra hard this morning to get his girls together and kick off STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK 🎉

You heard that right, all week long we are celebrating our ENTIRE staff - from doctors, to technicians, to CSRs.

It’s no secret that every single team member plays a vital role in making BVH the incredible hospital that it is! From our front desk (our “front line warriors”) to the hands on care provided by our technicians and doctors, each person is part of the heartbeat that keeps BVH thriving 🐾

So help us celebrate this phenomenal team ALL WEEK LONG! We have a lot of fun things planned 😉 so stay tuned, buckle up, and enjoy the ride!

There are many milestones in life like taking your first step, learning how to ride a bike, your first school dance, OR YOUR TEN YEAR WORK-AVERSARY! Lol!

Yes, you’ve read that correctly, TEN YEARS! 1️⃣0️⃣!

Help us celebrate 10 years with our brilliant, hard working, talented, kind, generous, wears her paw on her sleeve, Surgical Nursing Supervisor, EMILY! 🐾

Not only do we have the absolute best surgery department because of her, but BVH is a direct reflection of everything Emily molded it to be - a loving, genuine, welcoming hospital that practices the best medicine! It’s gold standard or nothing, as far as she’s concerned!🥇

So, let’s give het a hug round of “ap-paws”! Thank you is an understatement!

Here at BVH we like to be humble and not brag - but today? Today we aren’t going to shut up about two very huge accomplishments: our technicians Hannah and Angelina just gained further certifications and WE ARE SCREAMING FROM THE ROOFTOPS ABOUT IT! 📣

🐾 Angelina is now full abdominal ultrasound certified!

🐾 Hannah is now echocardiogram certified!

These two new notches under their belts join the other imaging certifications they already have, adding to their ever expanding skill set. Impressive? Total understatement.

If you’ve had the honor of getting to know either of these amazing women, you know that they go above and beyond for our patients. Their care is compassionate. They treat every patient as if they are their own. They work hard. They are dedicated. They are everything that molds BVH to be what it is, and we could not be more proud.

So.. LETS ALL GIVE IT UP FOR THESE TWO 💙
