We now present you: the new and improved BVH!

A lot (and we mean a lot) of hard work, patience, perseverance, and a great team made all of this possible!

From the curbside workflows to the late nights and weekends, to our fantastic contractors and architects, the finished product speaks for itself and truly reflects the love and care that went into this project.

Not only did we want a facility that matches our gold standard of care, but a hospital that speaks to the welcoming, kind atmosphere that we pride ourselves on. We now have the facility that matches the quality team at BVH, and we could not be prouder.

So come on by and check it out if you haven't already!

We will be closing at 2pm tomorrow, Friday August 8th, 2025, to have electrical work done on the hospital.

If you are having an urgent issue, please contact our sister hospital Veterinary Associates of Cape Cod at 508-394-3566 to see about appointment availability. While not guaranteed, they will do their best to help as many of you as they can, within the boundaries that they are able.

Today is the day! Sampson Fund Day at Moby Dick’s! 🐾🦞

Starting at 11:30 AM, join us at Moby Dick’s Restaurant in Wellfleet for a delicious way to support a great cause!

The Barry family, owners of Moby Dick's, will generously donate a portion of the day’s revenue to The Sampson Fund for Veterinary Care, helping us provide critical medical treatment to dogs and cats in need across Cape Cod.

Enjoy some of the freshest seafood on the Cape and a true New England clam shack experience, all while giving back to animals who need it most.

We all know our office manager Carley is the tallest person in the building ( 😉) but compared to our buddy Bizmark she’s almost microscopic!

How much do you think this gentle giant weighs?

I kept scratching my ears and shaking my head. Mom wanted to look but I said, NO. Mom took me to . Dr. Winer checked my ears. She gave mom ear medicine for my ears but gave me some very delicious treats. ~ Gus

Today we had the amazing Danielle Robertson Photography come take photos of our new and improved hospital.

She was able to truly capture the love we have for our patients, as well as the warm and welcoming atmosphere we pride ourselves on.

Make sure to let our “paw-tients” test out the new digs when they come by for their appointments! We’d be lying if we said we didn’t build these benches especially for them 😉

We grabbed our hats and 💩 kickers and brought the rodeo to town for BVH FIELD DAY 2025! 🤠

You know there’s no party like a BVH party!

We got our staff a mechanical bull, the amazing , inflatable boxing, allowed them to slap each other with tortillas, hotdogs on a rope, did an insane pie eating contest (which they got to wash down with a burping contest), and did our annual farm animal relay!

Cash prizes were won, our staff was happy, and we celebrated a team that has been nothing short of incredible throughout our renovation project and the regular busy day to day caring of our patients and clients. We would be nothing without this team right here, so let’s give it up to the hilarious, kind, genuine, kick-butt team BVH! 🐾💙

Our newest friend Archie arrived to his appointment attached to mom’s hip, literally!

He was the best boy for his first puppy visit with Dr. Winer!

Archie, we can’t wait to watch you grow up! We’re not sure if mom will be able to find a bag big enough for you as you grow, but we are all soooo hoping she does!
