Proper nail care is very important to your pets health! Cats can experience ingrown nails, can strain muscles and even become entrapped when long nails get stuck in fabrics. Dogs feet are uncomfortable with long nails,and the way in which their pads contact the ground is affected in a negative way, leading to changes in gait and difficultly getting around comfortably!

You know what's super gratifying?

Seeing positive change resulting from my treatments in my clients pets!!
Chronic Renal Failure plagues so many cats later in life. Yes, it's an incurable disease but it is a disease PROCESS which can be treated and managed ; adding months to years of quality life for pets.
By employing such interventions as diet change when possible, addition of very specific veterinary supplements, and administration of subcutaneous fluids at home; my " homebodies" and many many other kidney kitties experience great results.
Today I was excited to get another su h great report from a kitty I will call Mylo ( real name redacted). Mylo began as a pawspice recipient of Homebodies a few years ago. He was in early renal failure. We implemented supplementation and subcutaneous fluids , he didn't like the diet so we couldn't use that tool in our toolbox.
Two days ago he presented to his vet for a dental cleaning, and his bloodwork showed that his renal values had improved !! Our goal is usually to stave off worsening...so having improvement is fantastic! This is very possible with a dedicated owner and a little luck from the kitty gods. Lol
The loveliest thing about this is that his owner hasn't had to provide any of the fluid care; removing her entirely from association with anything even mildy medicinal. To Mylo, she's just the same old doting mom he's always had.
Win. Win WIN.

Busy busy! I specialize in pets who have health concerns. Taking care of an adorrrrable diabetic kitty named Tommie right now. Diabetics in particular do better at home as opposed to a facility..because stress affects their blood sugar dramatically!
