Thanks to our amazing community, 16 animals were adopted and 1 more was reserved during Clear the Shelters today! That means more pets heading home and more space opening up for animals who need us. ❤️

And we have even more good news — Clear the Shelters has been EXTENDED through Tuesday, September 1!

Washington County pet owners — did you know Brenham Animal Services offers a Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Assistance Program to help make spaying and neutering more affordable?

Spaying and neutering is one of the most important things we can do to help our pets and our community. It can provide important health and behavioral benefits for your pet while also helping reduce unwanted litters and pet overpopulation in Washington County.

Our assistance program is available to eligible Washington County residents who need help with the cost of having their dog or cat spayed or neutered.

Healthier pets. Fewer unwanted litters. A stronger community.
