Purr-fect adoption update:

In 2018, I came in and had an introduction to Teddy. One of the black kittens in a litter of 7 or 8. Anyway, Teddy was shy at first but quickly warmed up and was very lovey! I had seen a picture of him on your website and instantly fell in love with him!
He’s now 7 years old and is such a sweetheart still! He’s been a great cat.

I tell everyone, don’t buy! Rescue instead. The rewards are way better ❤️

Purr-fect adoption update:
I just wanted to send an updated picture of Meelah. She was adopted on November 6, 2024. She’s doing great and has really changed my life. Sitting by the front door, bird watching this morning.

Adoption Pup-date:

We gave Sage a new name after getting to know her for a good week - we decided on Annie because she is the sweetest, most affectionate and pretty puppy! She LOVES everyone and living inside with us. Potty training is going pretty well, very few accidents inside - we just spend a lot of time outside waiting :)
Annie has already learned to fetch a ball and bring it back most of the time and takes all her toys out of the basket first thing in the morning. She is not a fan of going in the car so we are working on short trips here and there. From the first night home, Annie has slept well in her kennel without crying so we are very grateful for that.

We had a very positive adoption experience with your facility and we were beneficiaries of donated items to get us started with a puppy. Also, I did reach out with some additional questions a few days later and the staff answered promptly.

We’re happy to give you an update on our sweet Miss Bella!
She’s doing really well and has settled right in as a dear family member.
We’ve not had a baby puppy in many years and it’s been a fun experience.
Bella is extremely smart and is already learning commands. She loves to please.
Thank you for all the hard work and love and care your facility gave to Bella, her mother and her many siblings! We’re very appreciative!

Austin Pets Alive! is asking for specific items to help with displaced animals from the tragic flooding. We will be accepting donations on their behalf until the 17th and will deliver the following day! 🐾 Donations can be placed in our donation basket weekdays 7 A-6 P and Sat 8-2!

Supplies needed now include:
microchip scanners
kitten food
kitty litter
flea/tick meds, vaccines
airline kennels(plastic) - medium(32") and cat size(28")
soft dog treats
zip ties
nylon martingale collars (medium to large)
xpens
wire crates (medium and large)
cat and dog carriers for the car
dawn dish soap
scrub pads
nitrile gloves
enrichment toys for the dogs (Benebones, Nylabones and Kongs – L & XL)
soft dog toys

The Guadalupe River is overflooded and has caused loss of life and devastation in Kerr County.
