Double adoption update:

It has taken awhile to get T***s (or Lizzy for that matter) to hold still long enough to get some good pictures of her since we adopted her in January 2026, but she is settling in very well and adapting to her permanent environment. At the advice of her veterinarian, we have her on a specific diet, along with worming meds to bring her gut back to good health and has NOT had an a**l prolapse since February. She has put on some good weight and goes on frequent walks for some enrichment. She plays occasionally with Lizzy, whom we also adopted from the shelter in Brenham, and cohabits with the other cats and chickens.
Lizzy is incredibly intuitive and is always all up in somebody's business. Between the two, Lizzy is typically the instigator. Both are a wonderful addition to our family, and I hope this will encourage anyone who is looking for a pet to give adoption a try. Oh, and T***s is not modest; she loves her belly rubs.

Hey! Blue has been doing great! Taking twitchy long naps more frequently and often. Seems like he is getting used to his new environment and he has taken me as his human. He is already very protective of me! Every day is getting better for both of us.

− Friday, May 22 - indoor pools open 6:00 am - 1:00 pm
− Saturday, May 23 - outdoor pool open 10:00 am - 5:00 pm | indoor pools open 3 pm - 5 pm
− Sunday, May 24 - all pools open 1 pm - 5 pm
− Monday, May 25 - all pools open 1 pm - 5 pm
− Regular Summer hours start Tuesday, May 26

Not affected by the holiday:
• Brenham & Washington County Texas Visitor Center - Open 10 am - 5 pm Monday
• Collection/Transfer & Recycling Station - Open regular hours
