Did you know a single female cat can produce up to 200 kittens in her lifetime? When those kittens go on to reproduce, the population can grow exponentially. An unneutered male cat can father dozens of litters each year, contributing to thousands of unwanted kittens over time.

That's why affordable spay and neuter programs are one of the most effective ways to reduce pet overpopulation, prevent suffering, and give every cat a better chance at a healthy, loving home.

Exciting news: PAWS is fundraising to start a community clinic for low income cat owners. The clinic would be located next door to the PAWS shelter in our one bedroom house.

To make this vision a reality, we need your help. We are raising funds to convert the house into a welcoming clinic space with a reception area and exam room.

Veterinary costs continue to rise faster than inflation, forcing many families to delay or forgo essential care for their pets. No animal should suffer because basic medical services are out of reach.

Washington State also faces an ongoing pet overpopulation crisis, with more than 100,000 animals surrendered to shelters each year. Shelters cannot solve this crisis through adoptions alone — prevention through affordable spay and neuter services is essential.

Our clinic will provide low-cost spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and preventive care to help keep cats healthy, reduce shelter overcrowding, and keep families together.

Meet Sage, a 5-year-old fluffy brown tabby with a calm, loving personality. He adores being brushed and spending his days napping in sunny spots or watching the world from the window. While he has playful moments, Sage is mostly a laid-back couch companion. He would do best in a quiet home with older children who can respect his sensitive nature. He does get along with other cats, but does need a slow introduction. If you think Sage might be the perfect fit for your family please stop by and give him a visit.
