Just before I left for my son's basic training graduation, I had the lovely opportunity to do Sydney's *high school* graduation photos! What a delightful person she is! I often say that babies and pets are my favorite subjects, but then I'm reminded how much fun it is to hang out with someone on the verge of his/her Next Big Adventure. Thanks for the reminder, Sydney!

Thank you SO MUCH to all who have shared - and taken me up on - my portrait offer. We almost have enough for air/hotel for *one* of us to go. :)
As many of you know, Josh and I have had a rocky relationship - especially the last 6 years or so. His most recent stay with us, from Thanksgiving of last year until he left for boot camp, was a redemptive time. I cannot overstate how important it is to us to support him by being at his graduation.
Please continue to share, and if you know of anyone basically in Western WA (even to Portland) who needs portraits of any kind, please consider sending them my way.
