🚨🐾 BIG CHANGES at Pawsh Grooming! 🐾🚨

We’ve got some exciting (and a little bittersweet) news to share with our Pawsh family, so buckle up!

✨ Meet Our New Groomers

We’re thrilled to officially welcome 3 amazing groomers to the team:

🩵 Kristi – Many of you already know and love her, and now she’s officially part of the crew! She’ll be grooming Thursdays–Saturdays.
🩵 Angelica – She started as an apprentice earlier this year and has been absolutely crushing it! We’re so excited to see her grow. You can book with her Sundays–Tuesdays.
🩵 Haley – Coming to us from out of state, Haley will be joining this fall and taking over most of Kodi’s clientele. We’re lucky to have her joining the Pawsh family!

💔 And now the tough part…
Our beloved Kodi is hitting the road for a van-life adventure with her husband and pups! Her last day is November 22nd, so be sure to book before then to give her a proper send-off. 🥹❤️

✂️ As for me – I’m still here! My current schedule is Sunday–Wednesday, but you never know when you’ll catch me hanging out at the shop, I’m always around

Have you ever reached out to us, only to be told our next available appointment is months away? We get it – that answer was just as frustrating for us as it was for you.

But here’s the good news: as Pawsh continues to grow, we’ve worked hard to fix this. With two grooming tables, two expert groomers, and two proficient bathers, we can now get your pups in for a grooming appointment without that dreaded wait.

For now we’ll be keeping our books open to new clients. However, spots are limited as they’re filling up fast. Please reach out and chat with us to see if you’d be a good fit for our salon🙂

❕PSA - Matted Pets ❕

Please, please think about your pet’s health when it comes to extremely matted coats this winter! While I understand the conflict with having to shave them- they’ll be cold. I ask you also consider the risks:

❄️ frostbite due to the matting restricting blood flow to the skin and extremities- ears, toes, tails
❄️ matted fur doesn’t dry as fast (or sometimes at all), causing trapped moisture which can freeze or lead to sores
❄️ a matted coat cannot do its job of temperature regulation

We are having an extra cold winter this year and I have personally seen dogs lose toes and tails due to loss of blood flow from matting. I ask you think about your pet’s long-term health and if they’re extremely matted to get them shaved and put them in a jacket until the coat grows back.

🐾Unsure if your pet is matted? Sometimes it is difficult to spot; we are here to help! Brushes often go over knots which leaves a coat that looks brushed out but at the skin it’s very dense knotting. We are here to give tips and tricks to help prevent/spot matting. Ask your groomer!

I have seen some serious cases this year and in order to help I have opened up my schedule to try to get matted pets in asap. I’m also happy to give tips and tricks on how to shave the coat off yourself at home (please ask for help, shaving a matted coat is VERY difficult to do safely)

Happy holidays to all my fur clients!!

I have opened up some days through the end of the year to squeeze in some last minute holiday grooms!

Openings available on the 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th and 30th! New clients welcome as well; a great opportunity to get in our system before we shut down to new clients again in the new year.

Pawsh has not done a standard price raise in almost 3 years. To keep up with our costs and with demand at an all time high in the county, we will be raising prices as follows:

-Small breed grooms will be starting at $70
-Medium breed grooms will be starting at $100
-Large breed grooms will be starting at $150
-X-Large breed grooms will be starting at $180

ALL pricing is client specific so if you’re unsure where your dog may fall, please reach out! Pricing will fluctuate around those base amounts per client. There may also be increases for behavior, matting and/or being overdue.

With that said, our books are starting to open up to new clients again (depending on the service)!!

I am sad to say that my shoulder injury is not healing, but getting worse. I will be stepping down and then eventually out completely for surgery (most likely).

With this news we have schedule changing again!!

Sun: Kodi - all day
Mon: Mariah - all day
Tues: Kodi - all day
Weds: Kodi - all day
Thurs: Mariah - all day
Fri: Mariah - all day
Sat: Taylor - 10-4 (handpicked clients that won’t harm my shoulder)

Please still text ahead of time about walk-in nail trims to make sure someone will be in on the day/time you’re looking for as we have some vacation times coming up between us all.

If you have an appt scheduled already I will be reaching out as the weeks come to move everyone where I can or cancel where I have to.

I am so sorry for the inconvenience! I’m hoping for a speedy recovery so things can return to normal asap!!
