Frosty also LOVES water! This guy is so easy going, comes up for showers and eats it up! He is currently living out 24/7 with another gelding and is very happy. He also likes a stall but doesn’t seem to care. He will make a wonderful addition to any herd big or small!

Did we mention in yesterday’s post how great of a brain this guy has?!
Many people don’t realize that Thoroughbreds get exposed to so much while living on the racetrack.

In the midst of packing for his weekend getaway, with a loud piece of equipment just feet away, Frosty stood comfortably taking it all in. If adopted before the end of the year, his adoption fee is only $1,500.

Are you looking for a leisure type trail horse? Frosty has trailered off property to trails, hacked around our neighborhood all with a willing and mature attitude. Frosty is coming 5 years old, is 15.3 hands and wears front shoes. He has some arthritic change in his right front knee that will need to be maintained. This serviceably sound dude has a huge heart and great personality. He turns out well with other horses (geldings and mares) and has great ground manners. If you’re willing to put forth some maintenance (which let’s be honest, every horse has some to an extent), Frosty won’t disappoint you! Contact us today to meet your next trail partner ⛄️

Lots of exciting things have been happening!

Because of the incredible support from our Wine Night, we were able to upgrade our round pen—a huge step forward in better supporting the retraining and rehabilitation of our OTTBs. This space is essential for rebuilding confidence, restarting fundamentals, and setting each horse up for a successful second career.

Now we’re looking ahead to the finishing touch 🎨
👉 We’re seeking a corporate group to sponsor and help paint the round pen!
It’s a hands-on team-building opportunity with a meaningful impact, and a chance to be part of these horses’ next chapter.

Frosty got to go on a field trip over the weekend to the beautiful Rock Springs Run State Reserve! He was a very well behaved boy for his first time in a settling like this. The trail is definitely this boy’s happy place. If you’re looking for a partner to hit the trail with and see the sights, Frosty is your guy!
