Carter and Arion ran their first High School Rodeo last night and they rocked it! 💥💥

For them, last night wasn't about being the fastest in the arena. It was about
💚 being a little bit faster than their play day in April.
-- they clocked about 4 seconds faster 😱
💚 taking in the new environment and different experiences of the rodeo.
-- Arion stood tied quietly and patiently by the trailer waiting for his turn. Carter and him handled the warm up ring and waiting area like pros. The steers and electric prods had him a little concerned but he held it together!
💚 building both of their confidence.
-- The grin on Carters face leaving the arena was all I needed to know we had accomplished this one 😁

We would like to congratulate the Quinten family on their lease of Aragorn Ibn Burak, lovingly known as Strider. 🖤

Strider is a 11 year old Straight Egyptian Arabian gelding owned and bred by Traci and David DeStena of TD Arabians. Strider has many accolades in the show ring in both Halter and Hunter Under Saddle.

He has held a special place in my heart for many years, so to say I am excited to have him join my program would be an understatement! 🤩😍

We saw big improvements at this week's lesson! Carter and Arion worked hard and are starting to figure out how to help each other balance through those tight turns.

I love that I can unload my own hay 💪, but I also love that most of the time I don't have to. Thankful for the awesome delivery team at NRS Springtown!!
