From Joleen -

Big news I’m ready to share - we have recently purchased a fantastic MagnaWave Sol Pro PEMF machine and I have completed my practitioner certification.

If you have ever wondered about PEMF therapy, please reach out! I would love to visit with you about what this therapy and it’s many potential benefits for you and your 4-legged friends!

I like using the neck spot - side closer to the shoulder. Great visual!

When giving IM (intramuscular) injections, whether for vaccines or antibiotics, these are the best muscles to use. If you have never given injections before or do not feel able to, please contact your veterinarian or an experienced horse friend to assist you.

Wow - got lots of rain last night and today. Hopefully this really helps with how dry we have been.

Rain will continue across much of northeast Wyoming and western South Dakota today. The highest rainfall amounts are likely to be across northwest South Dakota, with some locations receiving over 0.75 inches of rain. Snow will fall across the Black Hills, sometimes mixing with rain, but little to no accumulation is expected. The rain will decrease tonight as drier air moves in. There are still some chances for showers from Friday through Sunday. A new system will bring more rain to the region early next week.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the northern Black Hills and part of northeast Wyoming for 6am Thursday to 9am Friday.

A storm system is set to move into the region late tonight, bringing precipitation that will start as rain for most areas. Higher elevations can expect a transition to snow, with accumulations depending heavily on temperatures. Snowfall in northeastern Wyoming and the northern Black Hills may be more significant, with heavier amounts possible. Rain is expected across the western South Dakota plains during the day on Thursday, with no snow accumulation anticipated in these areas. Northerly winds could gust up to 30 mph throughout the region during the day tomorrow. Road conditions may deteriorate in the northern Black Hills Thursday evening. Good morning!

Light snow will wind down through this afternoon as the storm system moves out of the region. The map shows additional snowfall through this afternoon, with little to no accumulation expected over the lower elevations of the plains while the northern Black Hills may pick up a few more inches.

Another system will move through on Friday before warmer and drier conditions return for the weekend.
