Meet Your Pet’s Second Family 💙🐾

This week, we’re introducing Caroline, one of our amazing Pet Care Specialists! Caroline has been part of The Barkmore family for the almost two years and brings such a calm, easygoing energy to our daycare crew every day.

When asked about her favorite part of the job, Caroline said:
“Getting to watch your dogs have the time of their lives with all of their best friends. And bonding with the shy ones who don’t prefer the crowd. There is truly never a dull moment when it comes to daycare.”

One thing we love most about Caroline is how chill and go-with-the-flow she is while still making sure every pup gets plenty of love, attention, and snuggles. 🫶 We’re so thankful to have her as part of The Barkmore family!

Fun Fact: Caroline has been working in the pet care field since 2022 and says she can’t imagine a future where she’s not surrounded by animals 24/7! 🐶

To help your pet feel as comfortable and at-home as possible during their stay, here are a few things we recommend bringing:

✔️ Food for their entire stay
✔️ Medications & supplements (clearly labeled)
✔️ Favorite toys
✔️ A familiar blanket or t-shirt that smells like home
✔️ Treats (NO rawhides)

Keeping your pet’s routine familiar helps make their stay more comfortable, stress-free, and fun while they’re with their second family. 🫶

Becker is a ball of energy and personality who keeps daycare running with his zoomies, games of tag, and nonstop fun with his friends. 💨🐶 And if treats are involved? Even better — this boy is definitely treat motivated. 😂🍪

FIVE is the vibe for these TWO ✨🎉🐾

Willie & Bella got to celebrate together at The Barkmore, and it was the sweetest birthday pawty for the bestest buds! 💙 Willie officially turns FIVE today, and since Bella’s exact birthday was in January, she got to just join in on all the fun with her brother. 🫶

These two LOVE to rough house, wrestle, and keep everyone entertained in daycare. Whether they’re zooming around together or playing nonstop, they are always so much fun to have here and bring so much energy and happiness to the group. 🐾💥

Every Friday, we’re spotlighting the amazing people who help make The Barkmore your pet’s second family!

This week, meet Alexia, our incredible CSR Supervisor! Alexia has been part of The Barkmore family for FOUR years, back when we were still learning and growing into what we are today. Since day one, she has made such a huge impact on both our team and the experience we provide for every pet parent who walks through our doors.

Known for her sweet, caring, and organized personality, Alexia goes above and beyond to make sure every pet and client gets exactly what they need. She helps keep communication flowing smoothly between our front desk and back-of-house team so your pets receive the best possible care. 🐶

Her favorite part of the job?
“Building relationships with our clients and their pets and helping pet parents feel comfortable leaving their dogs with us.”

Fun Fast: Her favorite breed is the Australian Cattle Dog… probably because her Fur baby, Tobi, is one! 😉

Waylon’s family told us they didn’t want a birthday party just a birthday picture with the adorable hat and bandana they brought for him. But let’s be honest, there was NO way we couldn’t post this handsome boy. 🎉🐾

Waylon is one of our regular daycare pups and is full of personality. Like a true herding breed, he loves keeping up with all of his friends, chasing the crew around the yard, and staying right in the middle of the action. 🤍

Molly turned SIX on Memorial Day so we finally got to celebrate her! 💖 From her lovable personality to the way she melts everyone’s hearts, this girl is truly one of a kind.
