I got my certificate of completion from the North Jersey School of Dog Grooming in Chatham, NJ. Animals have been my passion the entirety of my life, but dogs especially hold a huge part of my heart. Groomingtails of Bowling Green has been a dream of mine for a long time. I am super excited to now have the freedom and versatility to offer grooming the way that I have always imagined. We are open Tuesday-Saturday starting at 7:30, closing times vary day to day. I look forward to meeting all the awesome pets Bowling Green and the surrounding areas have to offer!

To our valued clients, (please read fully as a client, this will affect you beginning 7/15/26)

Here at Groomingtails, we have always worked hard to provide exceptional care and grooming services while keeping our pricing as affordable and quality based as possible. We understand that rising costs are affecting everyone right now, and we never take the decision to increase prices lightly. In fact, our last price adjustment was in 2024, and we have done our best to absorb increased expenses for as long as we could.

Unfortunately, the continued rise in utility costs, grooming products, equipment maintenance, and everyday salon supplies has made a pricing adjustment necessary in order for us to continue providing the level of care and quality that our clients have come to expect.

There is another factor that we feel is important to be transparent about. Dog grooming is an incredibly physical profession. Our team members have dedicated anywhere from 11 to 28 years to this industry, spending countless hours standing, lifting, handling dogs of all sizes, and performing detailed grooming work. As the years go on, many groomers require additional medical care, therapy, and physical treatments to continue doing the work they love safely and professionally.

As part of this pricing update, we will also be placing greater consideration on a dog's size, weight, coat condition, and behavior during the grooming process. Larger dogs, dogs requiring additional handling, and dogs with behavioral challenges often require significantly more time, physical effort, specialized techniques, and in some cases additional staff assistance to ensure the grooming experience remains safe for both the pet and the groomer. Going forward we will be weighing your pets and letting you know of the adjusted prices for the future. Also with any new pups our current clientele adds to their family, please keep in mind we will have a 30lb weight limit.

We believe this approach allows us to more fairly reflect the time, skill, and labor involved with each individual groom while continuing to provide the best care possible for every dog that comes through our doors.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, support, and trust in our team. We are honored to care for your pets and remain committed to providing the quality service and compassionate care that have always been at the heart of GroomingTails.

These updated prices will go into effect on July 15, 2026. If you have any questions regarding your pet's grooming services or pricing, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are always happy to discuss your pet's individual grooming needs.

Ok so I will be calling it for tomorrow. Groomingtails will be closed. I have a list of the people meant to come in and I will call each if you to be sure you are aware. Unfortunately like a typical northerner I did not bring the appointment book with me because I did not think it would be this bad ice wise. That means we won't be able to reschedule you until we get back to the salon. I apologize for that mistake. Hopefully the sun stays a shining and we can be good to go by Wednesday.

Wanted to give a bit of an update for those of you wondering if we will be open tomorrow the 27th. I as well as most of the staff live out in the county, some as far as Franklin. I plan on heading out today and seeing if the roads are passable. If you do NOT hear from us, that means we will be there. At least those of us who can make it. Im leaving my house shortly to see. Ill be in touch if we will be closed to talk about the rescheduling. I appreciate your patience in this. Stay safe!
