His mom was so sweet and sent us a little tidbit about Silas! "This is Silas Fredrick! Silas is two years old and has been a patient at AHAWR his entire life! He loves springs, playing, and going on walks with his vest on. He is very much an orange cat, and he has more energy than any animal I've ever met!"😻

We have loved watching Silas grow up from a little kitten! Thank you to his momma for trusting us!💙

It's Friday so that means a new Featured Furry Friend! Meet 😻Hitch😻!

We first met Hitch as a kitten in May of 2025 with the most adorable markings! As you can tell, Hitch lives an incredibly hard life.....or maybe did prior to her mom finding her! She's been a very spoiled kitten (as they all deserve) since! We cannot wait to see how big Hitch has got since the last time we've seen her.

✨Starting now through August 24th, we will be offering $55 off the first dose for new patients starting Librela! ✨

What is Librela? ❓❓

Librela is a medication used to treat the pain associated with Canine Osteoarthritis. The injection is given once a month in office subcutaneously (under the skin).
It may take 2 injections (given one month apart) to notice a reduction in your pet's pain. Not suitable for dogs under 12 months of age.
Librela is not an NSAID or steroid medication, making it safer for dogs long term. 🌟

Hi all! Sorry for the lack of social media posts lately. I (Meredith) have been out of the office getting married and celebrating on my honeymoon, but I’m back to work and ready to go! ❤️

With Memorial Day coming up quickly, we wanted to give everyone a heads-up about a few schedule changes so pet parents can plan ahead, just in case their pet needs medical attention.

Our schedule will be:
• Closed Monday for Memorial Day
• Open Tuesday from 12–5PM
• Closed Wednesday due to parking lot renovations
• Return to normal hours on Thursday from 12–8PM

We’ll post reminders the days of as well, but wanted to share everything early so everyone has time to prepare. We also attached our ER referral list in case your pet needs emergency care while we’re closed.

Thank you all so much for the continued support. We appreciate you and your pets more than you know! 🐾
