UPDATE: Mary is PENDING adoption! Paws crossed!

Oh our ever so beautiful, Mary is waiting, searching and dreaming of her forever home!
Between 3-4 years, Mary is a big gal, weighing in between 90 and 100 pounds!
This glorious goofball, is good with cats, dogs and kids! She’s house trained, and kennel trained(though she will bark occasionally in indignation). She is your typical stubborn Pyrenees, but that also means that she’s one of the best dogs that you’ll meetā¤ļø she’s extremely playful, and loves to run and play with balls, she’s outrageously sweet and wants to cuddle with you on any occasion, and her favorite place to be snuggled up in bed with you!
She’s an absolute love bug, and she would love to find a forever family with you! If you are interested in needing this fluffy polar bear, please send in an application!
Per normal, those were great Pyrenees experience, are greatly appreciated, and those with a fenced in yard, due to Pys needing a visual boundary!

Our delightful ham of a dog, King Humphrey has been waiting A LONG time, and has had very little interest😢
This sweet and energetic 1-3 year old boy is supremely snuggly, fully kennel trained, food motivated, so much so that he’ll try to counter surf, but he’s so short he can’t reach the counter🤣He is housetrained, which is awesome, and he’s good in the car! He’s good on leash mostly though he can get get excited, and he’s a good sport, so he’ll get there! He’s a wild child with playing with other dogs, and loves to play with other dogs, and when it’s just him, he settles down beautifully! He’s going to be a great family dog with kids older than 10, NOT because he’s aggressive, but because he’s so playful, and younger kids may be more easily knocked over by his exuberance and zest for life. But if you have dog savvy kids that also might be very different! King Humphrey is good with cats, and is going to make a family extremely lucky. If you’d like to meet this absolute sweetheart, please send in an application!

Meet 11 years young, Marshy: professional lap dog seeking full-time position 🐾
Marshy has one goal in life, and he takes it very seriously: to find a lap, curl up, and stay there forever. If you’ve got an empty lap and a soft spot for a gentle, easy companion, Marshy may be your perfect match.
This sweet, low-maintenance little guy(weighs in and 9.2 lbs) just wants to be close to his person. He’s happiest curled up beside you, rolling onto his back for belly rubs, or quietly keeping you company. He’s incredibly affectionate, calm, and easy to have around—not demanding, not busy, just content to love and be loved.
Marshy is blind and mostly deaf (though he may hear some sounds), but he manages beautifully. He’s already learning his environment and routines, and with a consistent setup he gets around just fine. What helps him most is a stable home, gentle guidance, and a safe space like a crate when he can’t be supervised.
He’s an excellent eater, loves a good treat (ice cream included, in moderation!), and truly is a very easy boy. He’s also great in the car and enjoys being carried—he’s perfectly happy riding along in a cozy sling or chest carrier, which helps him feel secure in new environments.
Because he’s blind, he doesn’t navigate well on a leash in the traditional way and may wander in circles, but he stays close and is easy to guide. He’s been accident-free for the past two weeks in his foster home, though he may need a little time to adjust and learn the routine in a new space. Marshy is looking for someone who wants a true companion—a calm, safe home where he can stay close to his person and continue to thrive. If you’re the kind of person who thinks, ā€œI’d love a little dog to sit with me and just be my buddy,ā€ then Marshy is already on board. He’s not asking for much—just a safe place to land and a lap to call his own.
Apply to adopt him, today!

Lapras is simply the purrrfect kitten. At 10 weeks old and 2 lbs, not only is she super cute, but she has the best balance of being wildly playful, affectionate, silly, and calm. She even likes to be held!
Lapras came all the way to Maine from Texas, where she was found underweight, sick and smelly! Unfortunately, her litter mate didn’t survive, so she’s become a very brave and confident girl exploring her new foster home on her own. In no time at all, she has blossomed into a little, healthy, round kitten who says ā€œthank youā€ with each nap-on-a-lap.
Little Lapras even has experience providing elementary school students some therapeutic visits. A total hit, she patiently participated in over 95 photos and allowed children to pat her gently. You can’t go wrong with this beautiful girl!
Apply, today!
*As a reminder, we ONLY adopt to indoor cat homes*

Have you ever wanted to meet a dog described as the ultimate couch hippo supreme? Now’s your chance! Meet 8 year old sublime, Tucker! This GORGEOUS tank of love, is a rescue favorite having cemented himself in our hearts with his calm, gentle, and hilarious nature. Tucker in his 8 years of life was in and out of a kill shelter in Texas three times. Every time being found as a stray again😭We don’t understand why because he’s genuinely amazing, but we are grateful he’s here! Tucker is great with all dogs, easy with cats, and loves everyone including kids. Carly says that every good synonym out there would describe this boyā¤ļøHe is house trained, easy to walk, good in the car, and doesn’t like the crate but it’s okay because he actually doesn’t need one!
If you’d like to get the chance to hug this kissable cherub, and make the rest of his life rosy, please send in an application!

Meet Jelly aka Jellyfish!
This 6 year old girl is one great catch! No bite, no sting (or scratch), just a lot of love to share with everyone.
Originally from Texas, Jellyfish was brought to a shelter with a badly broken leg. Veterinarians felt is was in her best interest to amputate. Since then, she’s been healing well, learning to balance on three legs, climbing, walking and running! Her hair will grow back in no time and all that soft, gorgeous fur will fill right in.
Unfortunately, Jellyfish was also behind in dental care and needed all but one tooth removed to ease her pain. Now? She just wants to show humans her gratitude for making her comfortable again. She has a big appetite and doesn’t let a few missing teeth stop her from gobbling up her wet food.
Jellyfish is a brave girl who doesn’t seem fazed by the sound of nearby dogs. She loves to watch tv with her foster humans and rub on them, kiss their chin, or settle in their lap. Jellyfish is very affectionate, so if you don’t mind sharing your chair (or even your bed?) she’d be thrilled to spend as much time as possible right next to you.
She’s a lovely girl who is sure to show you how thankful she is to be safe and healthy in Maine! She’s stunning both inside and out. Apply to adopt her, today!
ā€œReminder, we only adopt to indoor homesā€.
