We usually do three rounds of walks with two dogs at a time, and he’s normally first. He wanted to keep us on schedule today.

🐾 Not every dog needs to say hello.

As a pro trainer, I’m selective about which dogs I allow my dogs to interact with. My dogs trust me to make those decisions while they stay calm and wait for my guidance.
Many dogs are overstimulated or under-socialized. Learning to calmly move off to the side and continue on is a valuable life skill that carries over into advanced training, including off-leash reliability.

Sometimes the best choice is simply walking by.

A year ago, I had no idea I’d be building a second dog training business in another state. It’s been stressful, exciting, and a little scary at times, but every time I see these mountains, I remember why I’m doing it.
