this beautiful girl is a red golden retriever full of personality (as seen in the past pic)! she’s known as funny, outgoing, friendly, and always happy. leila was a present pup, gifted to her mom from her dad. how sweet!!! she brings tons of joy to her hoomans, and always brings a smile to their faces. we love you leila!

HELLO IRON MUTT FAM!!! apologies that it’s been a while since our last post! as most of you know, this venture was started by a group of college students (seen in last pic), and we just finished our fall semester. going forward, we will continue hosting events, our series, and working on making Iron Mutt the best it can be. turn on notifications in order to stay up to date on all things Iron Mutt! thank you all for your support so far, and we are so excited for the Iron Mutt Family’s future!!!

in the meantime, here as some of our favorite pups we’ve met these last few months! we are so glad that we have gotten to meet and learn about these sweet dogs.

today’s post goes to this handsome man, junior ranger!

junior ranger is a 2.5 year old golden retriever who was adopted from wisconsin. he shares the same name with his fur dad, hence the “junior”. he currently lives in fort collins, colorado with his two fur siblings. and guess what….. he has a job! sweet junior ranger is a trained and licensed therapy dog. he often goes to school with his mom and provide therapy to students and staff. when he’s not on the clock, he enjoys swimming, the snow, stealing socks, and getting all the snuggles. we love you so much ranger!!!!

- dogs stay leashed on the trail

our man chipper here is a 2 year old mini australian shepherd who was adopted from a farm in CO. but don’t get it twisted. he isn’t just a dog — he’s a dawg. in the words of his human, chipper “pulls baddies, likes to eat chicken to get big, and his favorite activity is absolutely snagging treats out of the air.” chipper, we love you!!!

happy ! today’s pup is sookie st james!

sookie is a 2 and a half yr old pembroke welsh corgi with a sweet and fun personality. she was adopted as a youngin to be a companion for her golden retriever sister, lorelei gilmore (seen is second picture). ever since sookie’s adoption, the two of them have been the best of friends. her hobbies include playing the drums and cheering on ohio state. we love you sookie!

hello iron mutt fam!!! we hope everyone had a great thanksgiving week filled with family and food :) now we return to our regular programming, and we’re kicking it off with kai!

our pup, kai, is a sweet 9 month old english cocker spaniel. she got her name, which means “sea” in hawaiian, from her love of the sea. she loves nature and diving in the water to collect sticks and bring them back to her humans. she loves to be outdoors and is very agile. she’s a kind and sensitive pup who treats her humans with love. we love you so much kai!
