This Baxter Video Memory is from 2017. On a walk, Baxter and I met a Double Doodle named Garnet. A Double Doodle is a cross between a Goldendoodle and a Labradoodle dog. At this time Bax was 12.

I made this video 5 years ago, shortly after Baxter passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. Baxter now has his wings! Little Baxter passed on to the Rainbow Bridge on January 20, 2021, he had turned 16 on January 13, 2021. He has been my friend for over 16 years. The song "Rainbow Bridge" is sung by Libby L. Allen. This is a Baxter Memory from 2007. Baxter was two years old! At that age, Baxter would like to chew everything! That tennis shoe behind him I'm sure was brought there and chewed by this little rascal!

Hi Dad, I found it — the place you always hoped was real.
It’s called Heaven’s Meadow, and it’s everything you imagined for me.
The grass feels like clouds, the air smells like peace,
and every breeze carries the songs of the hearts who still love us down below.
There’s no pain here.
No goodbyes.
Just soft sunlight and endless space to run.
I chase butterflies, nap under trees that hum with warmth,
and sometimes, when I lift my head, I can see you —
sitting by the window, holding my photo, whispering my name.
That’s when I run faster.
Because every thought you send becomes light here.
And I catch it — like I used to catch toys —
and carry it with me through the fields.
Please don’t worry about me.
I’m safe.
I’m whole.
And I never stopped loving you.
When you dream of me, that’s me visiting.
When you feel peace for no reason, that’s me brushing by.
And when your time comes —

This Baxter Memory is from almost 12 years ago, Oct. 29, 2014. At that time, Bax was 9 years old. Baxter now has his wings! Little Baxter passed on to the Rainbow Bridge on January 20, 2021, he had turned 16 on January 13, 2021. He has been my friend for 16 years. This video is a tribute to my loving friend. I really miss my loving friend Baxter who went through so many hardships in his last 2 years of life. In those 2 years, Baxter got attacked by a dog, was diagnosed with cancer, had two vestibular episodes, and endured many Vet visits and treatments. But through it all, Bax carried on and loved his life! But he couldn't beat cancer. On December 31, 2020, Baxter was scheduled for euthanasia because of aggressive cancer. On December 2, 2020, he lost his second eye because melanoma was invading his eye socket. I decided to put off euthanasia because his cancer Vet thought the cancer was not spreading that fast. It seemed like he knew he was given more life by how many times he did his happy "Baxter Beagle Wiggle" after euthanasia had been canceled! In the end, Bax was fighting cancer, he now was blind, and he just experienced a seizure. I didn't want my friend to suffer anymore. The sweet boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on January 20, 2021, at age 16! See less
