A lone budgie was brought to us by Animal Control after being found outdoors near 227th Pl SW and 40th Pl W in Mountlake Terrace.

If you’ve lost your budgie in this area, please contact us with proof of ownership. If no owner is identified within 30 days, we will begin working to place him in a new home.

Several budgies were brought to us by Animal Control after being found in a carrier near a lake in Mountlake Terrace. The individual who discovered them waited for an hour to see if anyone would return for them before contacting authorities.

It appears they were intentionally abandoned, but we're hopeful there's more to the story and they're actually beloved pets whose person is searching for them. If these are your birds, please contact us (email or text preferred). If no owner is identified after 30 days, or if we receive an official statement of surrender from an owner, we will begin working to place them in new homes.
