ou in an appropriate way, while keeping your relationship with your dog positive and fun. We can help with:

- Basic obedience for any stage of life;
- Acclimation work with newly rescued dogs;
- Going back to the basics with dogs that may not have the right answer out in the real world. We will come to you and work in the comfort of your home to make sure your dog has the right foundations to take into more distracting and stimulating environments. Then we can move those foundations and behaviors out into the real world where you need them most. Now scheduling private lessons by appointment. Please inquire about scheduling group classes for basic obedience, reactive dogs, and desensitization to veterinary clinics and procedures.

🐾 Saturday Spotlight: Team Hank 🐾

Hank is working on calm disengagement around difficult distractions. When working through reactivity, timing and communication matter. Clear, consistent markers help dogs make better decisions, reduce frustration, and understand exactly what will happen next.

In this session (video in the comments), we are using two markers:
❗ "Yes" that means a treat will be offered directly to Hank and
❗"Find It" that means a treat will be tossed on the ground.

Although both markers mean a treat is coming, Hank is more responsive to the "Find It" marker when the distraction gets more difficult. A seemingly small change that had a noticeable impact on Hank's success. 🐶❤
