ou in an appropriate way, while keeping your relationship with your dog positive and fun. We can help with:

- Basic obedience for any stage of life;
- Acclimation work with newly rescued dogs;
- Going back to the basics with dogs that may not have the right answer out in the real world. We will come to you and work in the comfort of your home to make sure your dog has the right foundations to take into more distracting and stimulating environments. Then we can move those foundations and behaviors out into the real world where you need them most. Now scheduling private lessons by appointment. Please inquire about scheduling group classes for basic obedience, reactive dogs, and desensitization to veterinary clinics and procedures.

🐶 Emergencies can strike at any time—are you and your dog ready?

💡 Training Tip: Teach your pet to come when called. Practice indoors, then gradually add distractions and move outside. In a crisis, a reliable recall can be a lifesaver.

🎒 Bonus: Keep a go-bag ready with essentials like leash, food, water, meds, and their favorite toy or blanket.

✨ New Blog Post! – Unleashing Mindfulness ✨

📖 I confess, I am the quintessential Type A personality. I like to work, have strong perfectionist tendencies, and possess impeccable planning skills (I love making lists and checking them off!). So, before I welcomed home my first dog, Cyrus, I made sure I had all of the essentials in place (or so I thought!). I had done all the research, talked to dog guardians that I knew and trusted, and scheduled a new vet appointment (yes, really). I had checked everything off my list aside from “pick up dog.”

Despite all of my planning, however, I was not prepared for one of the greatest lessons Cyrus taught me – the real art of slowing down....
