CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER!!!!! The best way you could spend your internet time this morning is sending your well wishes to one of our teams, Abby and Indy- who aced their public access assessment yesterday! Abby is one of our youngest handlers AND the youngest to pass the public access assessment to date. Abby is absoluted adored by all of RT, and to watch her learn to work with her buddy is truly a gift.

Not to be overly sentimental, but we also just have to celebrate our trainer Michelle in this moment too, she joined RT 4 years ago, and we are grateful for everyday she works with us! She is an incredible trainer and one of the kindest humans you will ever meet.

We just have to share this picture of 5 of 6 the amazing poodles we have in the service dog program from Mere Point Poodles. Ages 6 months to 2.5 years, we just love these pups! Clockwise from the back left we have: Magpie, Delia, Atlas, Oscar and Ria (Ria is front left). All of these pups and Pilot (number 6 missing in pic) have a bright future of helping their handlers.

Can anyone say EARS? This is our adorable friend Isis, and today was her first day of service dog school! She is a smart cookie and we know she is going to be a confident helper in no time.

SOUND THE HAPPIEST OF BELLS!!

One of our teams has graduated the service dog program!!! Congratulations to our delightful Stacey and Mae, who have been one of the hardest working teams in our program to date. They have shown what dedication, follow through, snacks, and patience can do and we are so proud to be a part of their story. When we think about our program, this is a story that will always come to mind as one that represents who we want to be as trainers and the amazing way our teams really shape us, too.

Their public access assessment couldn’t not have been better, including more distractions than we planned and Mae never dropped her focus off of her handler, and Stacey was in great and constant communication with their teammate.

You know how there are just some people and dogs that you meet that you just know are going to be game changers? Yea, these 2 are that team. Stacey and Mae did the first half of their Service Dog Assessments tonight, and their Obedience demonstration was absolutely brilliant. This team has come so far, and we will never stop being their number one fans. On to the next half!

We have been a little swamped at the shop with so much going on, both in the horrors of the world and luckily with the best clients around- so we have been remiss in introducing our new students! Pardon our delay!

Puppies, Puppies EVERYWHERE!

We have so many pups entering program right now! Please welcome Kai, who is with us for 3 weeks- we trained her big sister Emmy and now it’s her turn! Our sweet baby Magpie has moved from puppy raising to Muttessori now that she is home living with her handler. And Roxy has entered the service dog in training chat!

Happy first day of school to our small friend Theo! He had a total blast his first day and walked around like he owned the joint. We love it!

First day back and already the bestest news! Natalya and Mabel have been working with us since N was in highschool, and we have been
literally THE MOST impressed with our former
junior handler, now full adult handler and her pup! Tonight after their first semester away at school they rocked their obedience assessment and are half way to fully graduated! This is what teams are made of!
