We hear it a lot, and we're here to answer the infamous question of;

Why should I groom my cat?

1. Less Claw Danger!
Cats claws are meant to be built in weapons, if left unchecked, they can grow dangerously long and sharp. - Getting them trimmed helps protect you and other pets in your home!

2. Fewer Hairballs
Cats regularly groom themselves, and some have more issues with hairballs than others. Regularly grooming can help your cat brush away shedding fur before they ingest it during self grooming sessions.

3. Keep Matting at Bay
Much like dogs, cats can get matted too! Especially if they aren't the best self groomer. Matting can hinder your cat's ability to produce natural oils that keeps their skin and hair healthy. It can also cause your cat a great deal of pain if left to grow, and can even tear your cats skin since it's usually more sensitive than a dogs.

4. Allergen Reduction
Have a family member or friend that's allergic? - Grooming your cat helps reduce the dander that gets spread, and makes it more comfortable for your loved ones to be around your beloved pets.

5. Bug Detection
Cats are able to get fleas and ticks too! Regular grooming will help detect if your cat is having any issues with parasites and if they've got them, your groomer can help get them under control!

We've already had such a blast meeting and talking with new and old friends! Tomorrow it starts again at 8am and goes until the sun goes down!
