Ok. Very long PSA: I've been getting quite a few calls for new dogs so probably need to update how I work....
I normally groom 6-8 dogs a day. (To keep my prices fair,but to also pay bills).
I make my appointment times @ 9, 10 &11am. I work on getting the first appointment out first and so on.
I don't do express grooming (I'm not a grooming drive through)
I take my time and do it right.
(Some days it takes longer)
I work with live animals and people's beloved pets.
I have my own dogs to take care of where I also live and work.
I can't always answer the phone. (Text is probably best).
I work Tuesday -friday and 1 Saturday a month. (I'm getting old 😭)
I am no longer taking dogs over 100lbs. Or once a year dogs.
No show fees are 50% of the total groom.
If you show up before I'm done with your dog from now on, I will send it home unfinished. I don't like to be rushed when working with sharp equipment on a moving animal. And most of the time once your dog sees you then it no longer is cooperative with me.
If I know ahead of time that you need your dog done by a certain time,I will be more than happy to accommodate and plan the day so I can make that happen.
I really try hard to accommodate everyone and do my very best job. When these things happen constantly it definitely weighs on my inner peace.
I love all my wonderful clients and would like to stick with this for a few more years ❤️
