Welcome to the team, Dr. Katie Lovell!

We're thrilled to introduce the newest member of our veterinary family! Dr. Lovell is a proud graduate of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and brings a special passion for equine medicine and dentistry — though she loves caring for animals of all shapes and sizes.

When she's not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Lovell hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband, her dog, and two orange cats (because one orange cat is never enough).

Please join us in giving Dr. Lovell a warm welcome! We're so excited to have her on board.

Thank you Stellen Canine Academy for starting off our puppy training camp. We are super excited to have this opportunity at Kendall County Veterinary Center. This course is for puppies 12 weeks to 6 months . These pups will start learning basic obedience and have fun while learning. Thank you to Purina and Elanco for some fun goody bags . It's getting chilly! 🥶Cold weather can affect your pet's joints, skin, activity, and routines. Here are a few tips to prepare your pet for wintertime:
- Provide a warm and cozy space off of the floor and away from drafts
- Sweaters or jackets are great for short-haired, small or senior pets
- Limit your pet's time outside in the extreme cold
- Some pets' nutrition needs might change during the winter. Talk to your vet if you think this might be the case.
