🐾 MEET BANDIT — 70 POUNDS OF PURE WONDERFUL! 🐾

Bandit is 3 years old and 70 pounds, and there really isn’t a better way to describe him than wonderful. ❤️

Bandit was owner surrendered when his beloved owner became seriously ill. It broke both of their hearts, and understandably, Bandit was a little sad and confused for his first few days with us. But it didn’t take long before he realized he was safe, loved, and surrounded by new friends. Soon enough, he became part of the pack.

And the more we got to know Bandit, the more obvious it became that someone raised this boy right.

His story actually began when he was found in a parking lot as a puppy. From that humble beginning, he grew into one of the gentlest, kindest and most well-mannered dogs you could ask for.

Bandit is so calm and trustworthy with other dogs that we actually use him for temperament testing! That says a LOT about this big guy. He reads other dogs beautifully, takes correction incredibly well and seems to understand exactly what is being asked of him.

Bandit has already lost one home through circumstances completely beyond his control. Now we'd love to give this incredible boy what he deserves most — a family to love for the rest of his life.

He may be 70 pounds, but most of that appears to be good manners, a giant heart, and pure sweetness. ❤️

This gorgeous 57-pound German Shepherd girl has officially finished her integration into the rescue, and to say she passed with flying colors is an understatement! She took meeting the rest of the pack right in stride and gets along famously with other dogs.

Not only is she a social butterfly in the yard, but she is also an absolute sweetheart with every human she meets. Gentle, affectionate, and eager to please, she’s the total package—and now, all she’s missing is a forever family to call her own.

Meet Everly! 🐾💜

Everly is a 7-month-old, 40 lb Rottweiler/Weimaraner mix with lots of energy, affection, and personality!

This playful girl loves other dogs and is always ready to make a new friend—though she’s still learning that not every dog appreciates her enthusiastic approach to friendship. 😄

Everly is also a total people pup. She loves being near her humans and will happily follow you from room to room. Once playtime is over, you can count on finding her stretched out nearby, perfectly content just knowing her favorite people are close.

Energetic, affectionate, social, and still very much a puppy, Everly is looking for a family ready to continue helping her learn and grow while giving her plenty of playtime and love.

Say hello and bring a treat for CAPTAIN!

Captain is a 3-year-old, 18-pound Chiweenie with the perfect combination of playful, laid-back…and always wondering when the next meal is being served. 😂

Captain enjoys a little playtime, a nice walk, hanging out with his people, and keeping a VERY close eye on anything happening in the kitchen. Open a bag? He heard it. Walk toward the refrigerator? He noticed. Say the word “treat”? Captain has suddenly appeared directly in front of you. 🌭👀

He’s friendly, social, and gets along great with other dogs. He has a wonderfully easygoing personality and just the right amount of energy. He’s happy to play, but he’s equally happy to relax nearby—preferably somewhere with a clear view of the snack department.

Being a Chiweenie, Captain has a little Chihuahua charm, a little Dachshund personality, and apparently the appetite of a much larger animal. 😂

Whether it’s a walk, some playtime, a couch cuddle, or conducting his hourly investigation into whether dinner might possibly be early today, Captain is just happy to be with his people.

💜 FOSTER NEEDED FOR ARIEL 💜

Sweet Ariel was picked up as a stray. She has a microchip, but her owners have moved and unfortunately provided no help for her.

Ariel is a 10ish-year-old, 19 lb Pomeranian mix who has clearly gone without proper medical care for a long time. The black skin you see is from years of untreated chronic allergies. She also has a double ear infection, and her eyelids turn inward and constantly irritate her eyes. 😢

She has a BIG vet day Monday! She’ll be spayed, have her eyelids surgically corrected, and get several other things taken care of. We’re starting medication now so she can finally begin feeling better. 💜

What she really needs is a quiet foster home to heal in. She’s incredibly calm, quiet, and has been great with all the dogs. 🐾

Meet Diego! 🐶🐾

Looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion? Meet Diego, a 23-pound Terrier mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart!

Diego is a gentle, playful boy who loves being part of the action. One of his favorite things is chasing after the Border Collie’s frisbee. Sometimes he catches it, but he’s just as happy chasing his dog friend around the yard. A few times each day, Diego gets the cutest zoomies—they’re guaranteed to make you smile!

He enjoys toys (especially if he can “borrow” one from another dog!), but he’s happy to share once he has it. Diego loves spending time with people and will often come over to see what you’re doing or invite you to play. He also enjoys going for walks with his canine family member and would likely love having another friendly dog to keep him company.

Like many rescue dogs, Diego can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new places. He may bark briefly at strangers, but once he realizes they’re friendly, he settles in and lets his sweet personality shine. Car rides and vet visits are still a little scary for him, so he’ll do best with a patient family that will continue helping him build confidence.

Diego is making great progress with house training and is already kennel trained, where he feels safe and relaxed. He’s also beginning basic obedience training and is eager to keep learning.

Diego appreciates having his own space during mealtime, so feeding him separately from other pets is recommended. Otherwise, he gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having a canine companion.

If you’re looking for a sweet, entertaining, medium-sized dog who will reward your patience with endless love, laughter, and companionship, Diego just might be the perfect match.

Meet Otis, a 1½-year-old, 12-pound Jack Russell Terrier who is ALL Jack Russell—packed into one adorable little body! ❤️

Otis is happy, playful, busy, curious and always on alert for whatever adventure might be happening next. If there’s something to investigate, a toy to chase, a friend to meet or fun happening anywhere within a five-mile radius, Otis would like to be involved! 😂

True to his Jack Russell roots, he’s smart, energetic, entertaining and full of personality. These little terriers were bred to be active problem-solvers, so Otis isn’t looking for a life spent watching the world go by—he wants to be part of it!

He does great with other dogs and would love a family who appreciates that wonderful Jack Russell combination of brains, energy, loyalty and just a tiny bit of “I have my own ideas, thank you very much.” 😆

Otis is one of our Special Ambassador Dogs, which means his adoption helps support other rescue dogs who need extra medical care and a second chance. ❤️

Meet Bixby! 🐾💙

Bixby is a 1-year-old, 13-lb Chiweenie with ears that go for miles and a personality just as big! This happy little guy has a constantly wagging tail and wants to know everything about life—there’s always something new to see, sniff, or explore.

Bixby is very social and loves people and other dogs. He’s playful, curious, affectionate, and has that typical happy Chiweenie personality that makes every day more fun.

And those ears? 😂 We’re pretty sure if the wind catches them just right, Bixby could fly straight to your house! 🐶✈️💕
