Meet Mabel! 🐾
Mabel is a beautiful black-and-white
terrier mix, about 2 years old and 35 pounds, with the sweetest personality you could ask for. She has the perfect balance of playful energy and cuddly affection, making her an easy addition to just about any home, the most important and non-negotiable requirement for her new home is another dog or dogs!
Mabel is fully house trained, non-destructive, and does great free roaming the house when her people are away. She currently lives in a busy foster home with six other dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities—including some with disabilities—and she gets along wonderfully with every single one of them. Big dogs, small dogs, male or female… Mabel is happy to be everyone’s friend.
She absolutely loves people and is happiest when she’s close to her humans. At night, she sleeps peacefully in a dog bed right next to her foster mom and dad’s bed, content just being near her family. During the day, she enjoys playing with toys (especially stuffed ones) and happily chewing on her favorite bones.
Mabel’s story shows just how special she is. She arrived in rescue right before the big freeze, heavily pregnant, and soon gave birth to nine beautiful puppies. She was an incredibly devoted and loving mama, caring for every one of them. Now that her babies are growing up and finding homes of their own, it’s finally Mabel’s turn to be the one who’s loved and spoiled.
