We have a very important question:
Is that edible? 👀🐾

For the Treat Negotiator, this is not a joke. It is a lifestyle.

Food motivation can make training rewarding and engaging, giving our companions an extra reason to participate and learn. And some furry friends are exceptionally enthusiastic about anything involving snacks.

The best part? Getting to know what motivates our individual dogs helps us understand their personalities beyond the Halloween costume.

Think you know your furbaby’s trope?

Growing up doesn’t happen on exactly the same schedule for every dog. 🐾

By around six months, puppies are roughly 75% of their adult size, but the finish line depends on breed size. Small and medium breeds typically reach adulthood around 12 months, while large and giant breeds may continue growing for 18–24 months.

That’s one reason we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition.

For families around Stuart and neighborhoods across Boca Raton, we encourage new pet parents to consider breed size, growth rate, activity, and individual needs, and work with their veterinarian on the right food, portions, and timing.

Somebody just walked through the door.
Our Neighborhood Celebrity has entered the building. 🎬🐾

Playful, social, and always ready for an audience, these furry friends can turn an ordinary greeting into a full production.

Goofy antics? Absolutely.
Enthusiastic hello? Guaranteed.
A strong desire to be involved in everything? Very possible.

Breed traits can give us helpful context, but every companion brings their own energy, quirks, and personality to the family.

Small stomachs. Big nutritional demands. 🐾

Young puppies can need several small meals throughout the day because their stomachs are small while their bodies are growing quickly. Some may eat three or more meals daily during this stage.

We also know that a consistent feeding schedule can make those early days easier for everyone.

From a Stuart home near the St. Lucie River to a new routine around Boca Raton’s Mizner Park, establishing regular mealtimes gives your four-legged friend a predictable rhythm.

At Wags About You, we’re here to help families feel informed and confident through every stage.

A mysterious box has appeared.
Naturally, our furry friend has questions. 📦🐾

Some companions treat every new sound, doorway, leaf pile, and cardboard box like an important investigation.

That curiosity can be part of their individual personality, with breed traits offering a few clues along the way.

We love getting to know those wonderfully specific quirks that make every four-legged friend their own.

So… is yours a Chaos Goblin, a Neighborhood Celebrity, a Blanket Burrito, or a Treat Negotiator?
